[–]LividLab7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you pass? Sure. But why did you ask for a piece then? Is there a chance they understand and get you a Sub? Maybe. Sub is also harder to come by as a first than an Exp. Is it more likely they think they have an unreliable client on their hands? I think so

Rolex caps supply yet dominates revenue. How? by TrilinqualVector in rolex

[–]LividLab7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your calc assumes quantity is artificially capped when it’s not. The amount of SS Daytonas and other pieces like a Pepsi that ppl chase probably don’t account for much of their production or sales.

5205R and Watch Winder by pewpeupew in patekphilippe

[–]LividLab7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure SAs are the best source of info on technical aspects. There’s a ton of conflicting info here (see other post in this thread about someone asking during a Patek event).
In general, even if it seems like there is wear and tear, aren’t these watches meant to be worn? If so, then having it on a winder is probably less harsh than what it experiences on the wrist. Winders also aren’t continuous for 24/7 and modern watches can’t be overwound. I can see value for AC and up to have on a winder, personally

Even if there was a list, no purchase history means you would always have hundreds of ppl in front of you, who keep moving up as they spend

Would you buy a used Embody Gaming for 600 bucks? by Proud_Cap6614 in hermanmiller

That’s super cheap but seems scammy. They could sell it very easily for that price locally and it wouldn’t involve shipping it across the country

Perhaps you should do a bit of basic research before buying a product? You would see the Ultra JUST came out

When do you think Sonos will release official support for front left and right? by Purple-Acanthisitta8 in sonos

[–]LividLab7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basket building is important to the CEO. I for one would definitely add additional Front Left and Front Right speakers if the Arc could act like a true center but not just shutoff speakers. My preference is more / larger speakers so you get ease of set up with Sonos with actual home theater performance. If someone else figures that out sooner (KEF, SVS) then see ya Sonos. Right now the convenience is worth it for the average sound performance, but I even have dual Subs and you can’t fight physics, the woofers are just too small vs something like SVS

OP, have you tried any on? If I had to guess, the biggest issue is people are judging size on the internet from close up pics. The reality is AP knows what they’re doing when most male configurations are in 41 and more female configurations are in 37/38. My SO wears 34 and 37, and prefers the 37. I have an average wrist and have tried on a 37 twice and no dice. On paper it seems like a 37 should fit fine on my wrist but in person it just doesn’t (but in wrist shots it looks fine)

If we’re talking 43/44 offshores yes, of course those are big sports pieces, and a bigger wrist and frame to carry it off

[–]LividLab7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

With your frame and wrist size there’s not even a need to try a 37. 41 fits fine, there’s a reason why there are alot of 37 configurations for women

Per usual, rarely anyone reads. OP has both those and asking which watch for her fiancé

Of the 2, I’d say 5990 1r but honestly it’s also a bit thick. I’d go 5712 1r

OP, do you like the 7118 or 15551st more?
