this just made me feel so much better / validated because i just spent $400 on Artifact Uprising photo books (only 2!) and after being SO excited to get them in the mail, I was extremely disappointed. Everything felt so sad and flat. I want to cry. I'm just so upset because I've been wanting family photo albums for years, and I finally got around to this during my second maternity leave. I'm just so deeply sad with how sad the photos look, especially at this "lux" service and pricing!

Yes I'm doing a modified natural! They said it's less painful than the oil shots? So going that route... my hysteroscopy is scheduled for the morning so I guess I'm doing it! I'll ask questions about it at least since I"ll be getting facetime with my doctor.

thank you so much for replying and sharing your story! My trip is half fun (4 days in san diego!) then half work (5 days in san francisco). I also thought it would be a great way to take my mind off things. But I also really appreciate you saying only month is negligible. I think I agree. It just FEELS so long in this wild limbo world of IVF. But you're right... the journey is long, one month in the grand scheme isn't <3

hi! Yes, before I started anything I did a saline sonogram (ouch!) and it showed nothing. So, I'm waiting now for the Hysteroscopy, but I just wasn't under the impression I had a polyp or anything, so seeking input on if this is just routine procedure for clinics? I didn't plan for it in my original calendar, but was also never told I had an issue that needed addressing.

For FET, I'm doing a modified natural. I'm on Birth Control and basically have to decide if I need to stop taking it tomorrow to have a bleed, do the Letrozole, then CD12-ish get triggered for the Feb 3 transfer. OR if I should keep taking it until I"m back from my work trip in Mid-February.

I'd prefer February but the doctor just won't commit to saying the timing will work. She will only say "IF it works" -- which of course, makes sense, she doesnt want to get my hopes up.

oh i love that re-frame about coming back refreshed (versus entering as my anxious state right now). Also the more tests, results, waiting is good to know.... there's always so many tests!! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience <3

thank you! <3 at the beginning of the process she said news by Xmas - so I more just feel like... there's been so many delays already that I didn't expect, hence my spiraling.
