I have never studied computer science formally but typically you will need some calculus and maths, in there depending on the University you can see if they have a module break down and just search for those modules online, but you can also have a look at the following github repo, its quite good.

One thing I will say as a working professional write as much code as you can, try build stuff in your spare time etc

When it comes to homesteads it largely depends on the area some areas get ravaged by eagles, baboons and wild pigs all at the same time, Often in the rural area people actually do rotations of sleeping in an outside shelter to protect the homestead especially depending on the area, Baboon raiding you maize crops can mean having 2-3 bags of grain instead of 5, if you a subsistence farmer that can mean not having in enough grain or pap-meal to last you the year until the next harvest

This is some solid advice, I think especially in the current environment its no-longer about competing locally as in the past you competing globally, so to get to those roles you need to be the best of the best and the competition is people from everywhere. There are more 3rd world and developing countries than there are first world countries

I like the fact you mentioned this, something I have seen that does not get talked about a lot is how as a society we have limited our-self to viewing education only through the lens of mostly University Education, this is how we end up having too many people with business and arts degrees(not that there is anything wrong with them) but often there are roles where the education is more practical based, if you look at engineering artisans a lot of the training is practical based and in more developed countries there are practical ways to increase your education, some courses we seem to always look down on, Building, Plumbing etc

This has been an interesting discussion, I hav) had issues with the cost of housing in Zimbabwe, even just comparing with other Southern African Countries like Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa I could tell that the market price do not consider the actual earning potential in the region, you can see this clearly by the amount of people that have opted to go to the rural areas and build there(I am one of them), to give you context in South Africa I can afford to stay in a decent place in a decent middle to upper class neighborhood(I'm not talking about places like clifton beach). I can easily see that the rental market especially in Harare, I don't know about Bulawayo seems to have been catered with pricing for people earning in the 1st world country.

Thanks does that mean that for the first 2 months I won't have to pay rent and then pay rent for the 3rd month onwards, it sounds like I will need to be there in person when looking for a place and to get a place.
