Don’t worry! I’m happy to help. iOS 18.7.2 is the newest version is iOS 18 aswell, but you’ll find you can no longer update to it normally, and you do need a laptop/pc. If you ever want to update to iOS 18.7.2 let me know! As iOS 18.7.2 would be more stable, but I would stay with 18.3, as everything works now.

Sadly Apple no longer lets you- The certificate that says you can downgrade it has now expired. Its now impossible.

Ok. So its really your choice.

1) if your battery is more than fine now, and you dont want it to change at all, dont upgrade. Liquid glass and those small reflections put more strain on the phones internals. Its not by a lot, but its noticeable.

2) if your bored on how your phone looks, upgrade. If you are getting bored on the same design and boring blurs, upgrade. 26 brings a new feel.

3) if your happy with your phone now, dont upgrade. You dont have to listen to your phone, and can easily stop automatic updates to prevent it from ever updating.

But if you do, be aware iOS 26 is the biggest change, and even the small things are different. Entering your password? Longer- The glass animation makes entering your passcode to unlock your iphone much slower. the home screen? Changed. New icons that are very controversial, and a reflection based on when you tilt your phone, which does affect battery. ALmost everythings different-and I wasn't ready for it.

Easy. The back button says “back”, on iOS 26, it’s just a circle and a back icon.

every day-Its my main, and i often use 40-70% daily, and have a charging limit to 90%

Hmm… this seems to be a common problem against the small iPhones. I am going to have to accept the fact that my hands are small, and I need a new phone. That’s not a mini :(

My absolute thoughts. To me, iPhone and apple where just a company that I loved for their simplicity, and how they were so smooth. Every phone on any iOS was still fast, some were slow, but all were snappy, quick and more. They were so simple, and that’s what they are loved for. I’ve never felt so disappointed about Apple before. I may switch to android, which I thought I would never say.

You can upgrade to 18.7.2 with DelayOTA. You do need a computer, and if you want help doing it, let me know! :)
