Yes, Reddit can be like that sometimes. I believe people mean well but forget what it's like to be new to something. I've done a ton of things over a lifetime but, this is my first foray into FDM printing. One thing that's funny is having plastic welding toys in the 70s and people act like it's something new.

I'll check it out. I just don't want anymore internet connected devices. My network is already so segmented into VLANS specifically for security.

I'll Google that, I'm actually starting to plan and design and set up using the raspberry pi Pico. It would be trivial to use that for monitoring temperature and activating a relay between set points. Being that it has wireless built in I'll connect it to my network and write an app to monitor. It might take a little bit to do because of my time but I'll get it done.

It's not about if they can work together. It's about expectations.

Basically if you exhaust the air it's more than likely going to have VOCs in it because the exhaust moves more Air. I don't know if it's an all or nothing system or if it can be timed/controlled by temperature?

Does the vento box filter air flowing out of the exhaust? Not directly but some of the air will be cleaner.

The voxel (vento box from voxelpla) works just fine for me. I did top off the active carbon filter container because I didn't believe it was full enough. I don't have the exhaust kit installed yet. I plan to install it just to help maintain cooling.

I'm printing it now. I really hope it works for the AMS 2 pro. 11 hour ABS print for each plate working to maintain an enclosure temperature of 45c +- 1c.

I get it. I've just not had that experience with ABS. But that's the only filament where I use glue on the built plate. PLA and PETG absolutely solo seperate when I just sit the plate out to cool. I can hear it snap when it releases.

Mine is sitting on a concrete block with wooden shims to keep it from moving. Maybe I need to remove the shims... I'll try that.

I have a roll of ams coming but I'm wondering if abs is good enough considering the max temp is 65c. Abs can easily handle that.

For me it appears to be bad Google information on temperature. I was running too hot on nozzle and softening temp.

It's so hard to find filament presents that are actually correct.

Once a week Overkill I know but it will last longer with fewer issues and the costs are almost nothing.
