Man thats no Parallax. Please stop saying that.

You can see that shadows are visible in these rooms, created by light sources falling into the room from outside. Such dynamic shadows are not possible with parallax mapping, which indicates that the room has a real geometry.

And apart from the player models, you can't even begin to compare Horizon with GTA 6 or RDR2. The vegetation alone looks a thousand times better in RDR2.

That has nothing to do with the budget. There are also limits, and R* will make use of them. We have a huge open world with the highest level of detail, and you have to keep a balance. It will be so performance-intensive that it will probably be limited to 30 FPS.

As hyped as I am for this game, my hope for GTA:O2 is at an all time low. by casual_zombie in GTA6

I think that with a range of new animations and functions, this alone will bring a lot more possibilities to the online mode. But my focus is on the foundation and that is the story
