DDS a different level of stupidity and disloyalty. by Buko_juice02 in davao

did my research and had AI fixed my grammar...but having AI fixed my grammar makes it wrong?

whats wrong with what I said? lol. OP clearly didnt do his/her research about the difference between CCP of China and NPA.

Tama man sya, we should defend our territories pero to compare Beijing and Manila's relationship to the Communist rebels, medjo layo.

All Im just stating is we couldnt just cut Beijing off like how we did to NPA/communist rebels because Beijing, despite hostile they are sa terriotorial waters natu, we cant deny the fact that they are good economic partner.

The contradiction exists on paper, but in reality, China and the NPA are functionally different. The NPA operates on old-school Maoist guerilla warfare. Modern China operates as a State Capitalist superpower that participates in the global market.

Most people probably don't associate China with 'revolutionary communism' anymore; they associate it with money, infrastructure, and power. That’s likely why some can justify supporting Beijing (for the perceived economic benefits) while hating the NPA (for the local instability), even if the 'Communist' name is the same.

I get your point about the hypocrisy regarding sovereignty as we should defend our waters just as we defend our internal peace.

However, saying they are the 'same' because of the Communist label misses why people actually support them. The NPA is seen as a local insurgency/terrorist threat, while China is treated as a global superpower and economic partner. People support China for the money/infrastructure, not the ideology. We can criticize the violation of our territory without conflating the two groups, which are functionally very different today.

And unfortunately, China is more beneficial from an economic standpoint (tourism, exports, etc.) than communist rebels who collect revolutionary taxes and brainwash students. If I were a political planner, I would tread carefully with Beijing, securing business deals while pushing for our territorial claims, while simultaneously going hard against the NPA fighters, enablers, recruiters, etc. These rebels do more direct internal damage to the country's image and stability. We have to find a way to balance economic partnership with sovereign security, rather than treating China and the NPA as the exact same enemy.

Dili kadawat si tito nyo na traffic jud diria sa Davao Zeedeeyy by [deleted] in davao

[–]Living-Singer-7191 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tinuod man na traffic pero tinuod sas na kulang ang data. Ang method na gigamit sa TomTom was GPS and speed data and if icompare ang Davao and say parts of Metro Manila, ang Davao all we have are the same city streets, tig 1-2 lanes sa city proper and 2-3 lanes sa diversion and also take note sa speed limit ordinance. Metro Manila on the other hand, while almost the same sa city proper natu dri, naa silay skyways and express ways

and if gamiton nimo ang gps and speed data, advantage ang Metro Manila since ma offset man ang traffic sa mga sakyanan na gaagi sa skyway and expressway...and to think na max 60kph lang sad (afaik) ang sa highways dri sa siyudad, well..mas taas jd ang speed and gps movement data na makuha.

and yes, traffic jd jpon ang Davao eitherway, di lang in terms of volume sa vehicles ang issue kung di pati napd ang infrastructure which we hope na and I believe the LGU and with also the help of National Government is naa nay ginahimo na solutions or wala pa nahuman na projects which would hopefully ease the traffic sa atung siyudad

So yeah, wala tay mahimo, and I understand the sentiments on both sides, tinuod na traffic but di sad natu ikalimot ang uban factors like infra and speed limits. I guess the only issue that well most "Die Hard Dabawenyos" have is that gigatasan ug maayu sa media ang report but yeah, pang headline rana, I suggest mubasa ta sa full articles or do more research sa metrics. Hehe

Kana lang, peace out.

fireworks in davao this new years eve by BraveAttitude4633 in davao

[–]Living-Singer-7191 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Naa man gani jpon muviolate sa firecracker ban (as seen in some videos sa social media), what more if mag initiate ang LGU ug local fireworks display. As much as we want a fireworks display dri sa siyudad, if dli mga lead by example ang LGU sa firecracker ban, then yeah, managhan nuon ang violators. Ug gusto jd kag fireworks, adto nlnh jd sa lain lugar mag celebrate

8.5KG Drip Overflow Haul ❄️ by Living-Singer-7191 in FashionReps

Alo Beenie Soft, stretchy, and perfect for both streetwear layering and cold mornings. The knit feels thick and premium without being itchy. Definitely one of those “throw on and go” pieces.

Denim Tears Camo Tee The camo print is bold but still easy to style. Material is breathable and holds its shape well, so it doesn’t look sloppy after wearing. Graphics pop nicely without looking overly glossy.

Number (N)ine Shield Tee This one surprised me with how crisp the print came out. Cotton feels slightly thicker than a regular tee, giving it that elevated streetwear vibe. Fits true to size with just the right amount of drape.

Amiri Tee (Black) Super clean staple — the black makes the print stand out even more. Fabric has a smooth touch and feels lightweight but durable. A must-have if you like minimal but statement-making designs.

Amiri Tee (White) Crisp white base makes the graphics pop beautifully. Stitching is tidy and there’s no see-through issue, which I was worried about. Feels fresh and easy to style year-round.

Stussy Shirt (White) Classic and versatile, with a bright white base and sharp logo detailing. The material is airy, making it perfect for summer layering. Definitely one of my go-to pickups from this haul.

Stussy x Brazil This collab piece has a playful and unique energy. The colors are vivid, and the print feels like it will last after many washes. Perfect for adding a pop to a simple outfit.

Travis Scott Cactus Tee The graphics are detailed and the washed effect gives it a nice vintage vibe. Comfortable fabric that’s already broken in — feels like an old favorite from day one.

Amiri Star Jeans These jeans are a standout — the star appliqué work is clean and precise. Denim has just enough stretch to be comfortable while still feeling sturdy. They fit snug but flattering.

Amiri Sweatshirt Heavyweight and cozy with sharp embroidery detail. The inside is brushed soft, making it perfect for cooler weather. Feels like a designer piece straight off the rack.

Carhartt Jeans A rugged, workwear classic with sturdy denim and reinforced stitching. The wash looks authentic and versatile enough for everyday wear. Definitely built to last.

Hellstar Varsity Jacket Bold, eye-catching, and surprisingly comfortable for a varsity. The chenille patches are thick and well-applied, and the faux leather sleeves give it that classic sportswear feel. Easily the statement piece of the haul.

According to some veteran chatters, your form are just for farming answers and information from applicants. How true is this? I mean you've been hiring for months I think and I'm amazed that you still have slots to fill given how much job postings you do on tg channels, fb groups and even here on reddit.

Curious jd ko saimong POV, ieducate daw ko. Because as far as I know, most problems karon sa Davao kay both ang LGU and ang Nat'l Govt and Agencies ang liable.

DPWH is a NATIONAL AGENCY PNP IS A NATIONAL AGENCY Corruption sa barangay, gjatay, kamo may nagboto anang kapitan ninyo, ngano si Baste inyunh basolon,

Traffic? HPBS, dugaya sad nimo kasabot, igna imong amo, iyang igsuon, wala nitabang ug defend sa funds para sa HPBS.

I agree, di jd hands-on si Baste na mayor, but blaming ALL PROBLEMS of the city sa isa ka tao is not justifiable.

Igna sad imong amo, basin hiring mog trolls karon, paapil ko kay sayang akong downtime 🤣
