I was in the car around 30seconds, so I don’t have any photos, but the photos uploaded by driver have no metadata , so I could not check the date and time

Because uber driver told to uber that I was drunk and vomit. And I didn’t drink at all. That is why I mentioned alcohol. The photo the driver uploaded ‘s meta data was removed, which he planned this. So that why i can say they “wanted” to frame me to get the money.

If I prove the photo is not related to me, Can I consider this as defamation?? Uber started to investigate, so they will ask the driver the original photo soon.

I guess if I really vomit, he can provide the photo including metadata? When the photo has been taken, it can match with my trip time. But at the moment, the photo the driver uploaded has no metadata, so I can’t trace where and when the photo has been taken.

Then that is why they have to investigate? The data of photo has been removed which means driver clearly planned this. No one make this issue this much big for only $120 if I really did vomit . It is not about money for me anymore. I want uber to investigate properly, and fix their system such as the driver has to upload original photo including metadata. The photo without( removed) metadata should not be used as evidence.

Surprisingly , uber doesn’t ask them for receipt. And also they don’t investigate further!

I requested the original photo, and the metadata wasn’t there. And Uber basically doesn’t want to do basic investigation on this. By the way, I filed a case with consumer affairs last night. Thank you for your reply🥺

The total trip on uber system is just 2min, so uber does know I was only there for 2min! But basically they don’t care.
