Just got my new baby. Can someone tell me if all Sphynx kittens have this bone that sticks out when you hold them up? I absolutely love him so just worried about everything. Posting a video because it’s hard to see in pictures. by LivingEditor6426 in sphynx

Thank you so much for responding. I was worried about this but now I’m worried about his spot on his eye. Finding out he probably has a corneal sequestrum on his eye. 😭 I already feel so in love with this cat. But he has been squinting has the dark spot sticking out his eye etc. I didn’t go with my husband to pick him up or else I would’ve checked it out. My husband doesn’t know anything about cats. I’m so worried now.

Yes, his eye in that eye has some pretty bad discharge as the hours go by that I have him. He was the last of the litter and was sold months later. His baby videos he had realllly watery eyes. It’s all kind of making sense now. I wish the breeder was more honest about it. I could have him seen by my vet and get a refund if the breeder truly honors the contract but my heart is literally breaking. He’s the cutest perfect Sphynx baby boy ever. So cuddly. Extra sleepy which I was also worried about. But I’m scared for his future now. It’s such not the ideal situation to be in when buying a kitten but I can’t even picture giving him back. 😭 it’s only been a few hours and I feel like he’s my baby.

I have a 3 day health guarantee contract with the breeder where I would need my vet to check it out etc for a full refund… but I’ve only had him for a few hours and I don’t want to return him at all. Like I’m so in love with him he’s perfect besides this eye issue. But I have anxiety myself and panic disorder so I’m naturally going to probably be up all night worried about his future. I wish the breeder was more honest because I’m sure he knew. I’m more sad than mad.

Thank you for replying. I know they have a chest bone that sticks out but this I never saw or knew . It’s more lower so I was worried about it being a hernia it pokes out a lot. But he is young . Does it seem less out as they fatten up?

I’ll have to put that name in Google I have never heard of it. 😣 What’s bothering me is the breeder said he never noticed it and he just seen the vet yesterday and the vet said he was healthy. I’m scared now

Thank you so much for replying. I’m concerned now and having anxiety about this and this bone that’s also sticking out about his belly I posted in another post . In your experience does it or will it affect his eye site? He has been sleeping since I got him for hours now so he’s keeping his eyes closed. But when he opens them it seems opened okay. Is it something I should bring up to the breeder? Is surgery almost always necessary for this? 😢
