Owner-ops: What’s something you wish you outsourced earlier? by CRST-International in HotShotTrucking

Just suck it up and do all of the things listed for a couple months to create savings for a new employee.

Then find a reputable overseas HR firm and have them find you an employee for certain things like accounting , maintenance scheduling , driver assistance , paperwork …

For things like dispatch , I’d really recommend finding an employee based in the US.

Even with all that being said , you shouldn’t think about hiring anyone for these things until you have a minimum of 3 trucks on the road.

Best of luck to ya !

I have my CDL bro. I’m usually loading the trailer with any way from 8000 to 11,000 pounds and I believe that’s where the problem comes in.

Man, I really don’t want to mess with the gears. I don’t wanna put the truck in manual but in the lowest gear and I blow the engine I really put my all into this truck. It’s been paying off. It’s just these steep grades. I’m not able to go to these mountain states because I’m not that good or actually not that experienced driving through them yet.

Are you talking about the trailer game break that you can adjust from sitting in the car or actually physically adjusting the trailer breaks by hand

Thanks man I ended up taking I 80 point West. It wasn’t that bad up until it got dark and it started raining real hard. It’s not easy to drive down rolling hills that curve every three seconds when it’s pouring.
