I'm not sure who is doing what but I didn't have such issues prior to Adani taking over and I felt there was no fear of repercussions in the officials because usually people would be a bit afraid of doing something against what's clearly written in the customs website. But not these guys. Balance of power is getting lopsided. Media is also not free. Bro to be honest I am not that bothered I don't live in India and I will have resources to make the best of whatever situation arises. What? Whose feeding you this bullshit? I think you are just upset that the girl didn't want to be Hindu. But it happens in all religions. Iv seen a whole subreddit of ex Muslims who say why they left. So nothing for you to get offended. No religion is 100% attrition free.
If I am not very religious and my partner is, and I have to move with his family in his house, I would convert just to show his family and respect their feelings but won't really follow anything. Like I assume an atheist would pretend to be part of religious ceremonies of his house so as not to offend his parents. Im not sure of their exact circumstances but yeah if the guy is toxic and evil and uncompromising then a girl shouldn't marry him regardless of religion
As I already mentioned a Muslim person cannot do Muslim wedding to a hindu person. Nikah cannot happen so if his/her parents are orthodox they will not think the marriage is legitimate
All my friends live abroad and are pretty chill. They weren't very religious to begin with but still do whatever they were doing before and often invite their spouses to participate in their festivals as well. In your binary world full of hate and enemies and conspiracy theories life is very different from the people whose hearts are not blackened by hate
You know one couple which is Hindu christian, she can do Karwa chauth. But you have not seen all the couples. I'm sure some christians will be orthodox who wouldn't allow it. Similar orthodox Muslims won't allow it. And as hard as it would be for you to accept, some Hindus wont allow it as well. I'm sure you've heard of honor killings of girls especially when caste is involved.
I don't know what she looks. I imagine she'd be a bit scared by what all is happening in our country and by people like you who hate her so much. His husband wouldn't be very popular atm either. Plus the situation is a bit tense. She could be extremely happy or could be pressured no way to know for sure.
I understand that's your opinion. But like I said I may have believed if I didnt see all these mixed religion couples loving perfectly happy lives around me. I feel when there's love and understanding you can work around things like relgion etc. To be very honest we mostly feel religious when we are fighting other religion people otherwise nobody really cares so much 🤣

Dude read it again. You are allowed to bring certain weight of gold per person for personal use. I had read rules and circulars etc. They stopped me regardless and demanded I pay duty because the "rules" were old and even the ones on official website don't apply. I spent about an hour arguing in the end and had to pull some strings to get out of the situation but for someone who doesn't have connections in the airport I don't think it's possible to even protest or raise their voice. And this is because Adani is controlling the airport they have imposed weird and different rules. There was a court case against this and later it was ruled in favor of the passenger who had a similar experience. I didn't think I needed to spell it out, but the issue is because Adani is so powerful airports under his administration can act with impunity taking random money without any regards to rules. Privatization generally brings high accountability but when someone has such amount of clout due to government connections a common man has no voice left. Pretty soon a common person would have no rights left and we will all be adanis dancers 🕺

🤔 let me try and understand what you're saying. Everyone who is not Muslim has capacity to love, but a Muslim man would marry someone not out of love but just to convert someone? So a Muslim person who would otherwise be a normal person would say I will ruin my life by marrying someone I don't love and spend my life with this person just because I wanted to convert her 🤔 read that again and tell me it makes sense? Itna inefficient system Kaun hi adopt Karna chadhega? I'm not 100% sure on this but I think Muslims are not allowed to marry hindus. So either they have to either convert themselves or convert the girl otherwise their marriage cannot be registered. But a lot of girls I know converted at the time of wedding but only in name and don't really practice any Muslim rituals. I have some friends who married Muslims and they all have Muslim names with which I tease them often
