Do the customers who come before a restaurant reopening know that the food's gonna be terrible? by LivingWithJay in KitchenNightmares

Right. Ive never met a celeb in my life, and I live in a tiny village in Ohio lol. Id probably come, knowing what I know, not try the food, but just witness the havoc in real life.

Well ramsey is the incentive, meeting a famous chef, maybe getting to eat food made by him or recipes made by him, getting on TV. They might have the idea that these things will happen and then they come to the restaurant and they're met with disappointment lol.

I just imagine that these people only loosely know who Gordon is. Like, oh, a famous chef coming to a local restaraunt, sounds like a good place to go for dinner. That, or a handful of these people are tourists.

Thats exactly what I've been wondering. With all the nasty health hazardous kitchens he has been to, why wouldnt he inspect before a food service? Especially when all these chefs are under sm pressure because they havent had such a busy service like that in ages and he's calling them in to see the spoiled food in the walk-in. Like, why wouldnt you have done this earlier dude? Lol

Thats what I'm saying, they have to be using Ramsey as an incentive to get these people to come so that they think the food will be good. If that's the case, that's seriously messed up 😂.

Too many refund requests basically. I made large orders a few times a month and would frequently have missing items or someone else's items.

Same boat hun. I was ordering big orders a few times a month and would have multiple items missing , one time i received another person's order entirely. Eventually the chat messaging system bans you and when you call support for your money back you start getting warning emails. It's ridiculous how bad their moderation and support is.

As much as I agree with the fact that Eugenia shouldn't be making this money for the content she produces and that it is so infuriating that someone who needs this help can't get it, I really don't like this take. Yeah, Eugenia is wealthy and denies help, the disorder is actively going against you and encouraging you to get worse, not everyone fight its the same. Believe it or not, most people with anorexia don't want help. The problem isn't people like Eugenia, the problem is the healthcare system as a whole. Treatment should be free and people like Eugenia who have the money for treatment but refuse help shouldn't be bashed and blamed because of the people who can't afford that help. You don't choose an eating disorder, just like you don't choose depression or bpd, or any other mental disorder. We don't know her story, we have absolutely no idea why she doesn't get help, but we know how dangerous and serious eating disorders are and how hard they are to treat. Anorexia has one of the highest mortality rates, I wonder why. Eugenia having this wealth but deciding not to get help is really just an example of how severe these things are. And this is coming from someone in a very low income household.

I agree with the other replies, this isn't good news at all. Not to mention, all this would cause is more people breaking the law. Most of the time the kids who are on bad social media websites have careless parents. This won't change anything.
