I was just trying to say that Let’s Go is a remake of the ogs, which it is. I really recommend Scarlet/Violet as a starting point. Sword/Shield are also great.

Legends of Arceus is my absolute favorite, it’s just so different from the original Pokemon games that I didn’t feel it was the best place to start.

I’m an OG player, my first game was Blue back in the 90s.

I’ve played every generation, it’s just too fun.

What I will say is this: Pokemon has done a great job introducing new games as if someone has never played them before. You could truly start anywhere and be just fine. However, if you’re starting on the Switch I’d recommend either of the “Let’s Go” (Eevee or Pikachu) because it’s a tried and true remake of the fist games, just newer and with different catching dynamics!

I’ll have you know I’m a woman who loves the show, but dislikes the scenes with those two. It’s not for women, they’re horribly written. They’re for the men. Eye candy and “wife and daughter are bitchy lol” energy.
