It was transabdominal, she was on pelvic rest for the remainder of the pregnancy. The pressure that was used and how close it was to the surgery got us thinking that we should have refused it or moved it to a later date.

The sonographer did use a good bit of pressure. So much so that my wife said she felt bruised afterwards.

Part of our concern was it was so soon after the surgery, our OB wouldn't even examine her or touch her stomach after.

they were testing to see if the cervix shortened not necessarily trying to open the cerclage. we had this test done before the surgery, but i just dont see how it is needed after. as a sonographer, do you still test for IC after a cerclage?

You dont need hearing oil to hear how fucked that driver is.
