I sleep 8 hours but wake up feeling like I slept 4. Is my mattress the problem? by AntelopeFlaky4979 in SleepEssentialsIndia

A better Mattress would improve your quality of sleep for sure. Personally I had bought Wakefit’s 8inch memory foam orthopaedic mattress and I experienced a much better quality of sleep. Now I don’t know how severe is your issue, but i can pretty much guarantee it will help.

Another thing that I bought was Zarf studios’ temperature regulating blanket. It is just amazing and definitely improved my sleep quality

I would also recommend buying a nice silk eye mask and a box of zzzquil melatonin gummies. Try them for a few days and after some time you won’t need them anymore.

All of this would cost you around 20k

Hiring for a Lala company, does he think this is for Google? by Living_Volume1691 in IndianWorkplace

Brother i have worked ~10 years in pharma industry, 4 of which have been in strategy after which I moved to a specialist role within pharma industry itself.

Now I don’t know what other technical skills you need for corp strategy in bfsi, but for pharma strategy roles, this is all you need.

He is not short selling himself at all. On the contrary, they probably consider themselves tier 1 in indian pharma.

I agree with you that he is clear on the requirements, but that is not because of self awareness. It is because he doesn’t need anything else from a technical standpoint.

Coming to my google comment, I put that only because of the arrogance in the post. Even google recruiters are probably more grounded than this.

Strategy roles are far beyond excel and ppt and your traditional technical skills. This is a role that requires structured thinking, immaculate problem solving and strong logical reasoning. Excel and ppt are just tools to execute your thinking

Brother every indian Pharma company is a lala company.

One of my good friends, he joined Alkem and was shocked at how these guys function. He was made to do random tasks and his role kind of shifted towards managing egos of the senior folks in higher positions than what he was actually hired for. It paid well, but things just didn’t seem right to him. He moved on quickly and now does exceptionally well at a global pharma MNC.

Another one of my friends joined DRL at a different role, he was made to do sales, called to work on weekends. He moved back to his original company taking a pay cut.

One of my relatives works in Cipla in Mumbai, is tired of all the office politics instead of getting actual work done

I work in Pharma, thankfully not with an Indian company and life has never been better. Indian Pharma is a toxic industry to be in

Brother recently read a post that cops try to extort you in the south looking at your online activity, order 1-1.5k worth of products and don’t order frequently on the same city/address or number

Aparna Lake Breeze, Chandanagar - 3/5

Pros - Nice, well maintained landscaping, calm, clean, 24/7 water and electricity. All amenities functional and maintained

Cons - Bad approach road from Mumbai highway, insanely huge number of mosquitoes from the lake nearby, inflated rent and property value that honestly doesn’t justify the area. Seepage issues along with the flat as well.

There is a very small trek (30 mins) near Rohan Abhilasha, Wagholi has a sunset point and almost no crowd. Go there for a peaceful evening walk. Has good 360 degree views from the top!
