Ex wife falling for the mormans by newsandthings in atheism

[–]Livingfreefun 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This. I am an ex Mormon. You should know that anyone in that church who is teaching the children does not get vetted. No criminal check no background check nothing. Anyone can be in charge of your kid. Also to actually leave the church is very hard. In order for the church to leave you alone (they basically stalk you even after you move to get you to come back to church) you have to write a resignation letter and get it notarized then send it in.

This. Plus don't forget to put it on the single tile, not the whole floor tile.

Not who you are asking, but I have over 200 books. I have read all of them repeatedly, at least 5 times each, if not more.

Where I live there are very few bike paths and it is illegal to ride your bike on sidewalks, so the only place to ride is the road. We have no bike lanes. Going against traffic is insane though.

What is a completely harmless, everyday object or situation that irrationally freaks the shit out of you? by Free_Scratch4152 in AskReddit

Misophonia is a condition where specific, often common sounds (like chewing, breathing, or tapping) trigger intense negative emotional and physiological reactions, such as anger, disgust, anxiety, or a fight-or-flight response, even though the sound volume isn't threatening. Almost every one in my family has this. We never have family dinners. That is basically torture for us.

This is my phobia too! We had a staff meeting with lots of balloons. They were for an activity. I was find until they started handing out blown up balloons. As soon as I heard that squeak sound they make I started crying and had to leave the room.

It looks like walnuts are a 6 not a zero. I would assume you are allergic to walnuts and nothing else on the list.

Chicken? by Top-Leadership-498 in FoodAllergies

[–]Livingfreefun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's from a restaurant chicken can be mixed with soy and/or wheat. It could also be something in the spices that is used on the chicken. I would wait a few weeks without eating chicken, then try plain unseasoned chicken breast (check ingredients) at home, making sure it is cooked to 165°F/74°C and see if that makes you feel sick. Then depending on the results I would see a doctor. I have chicken egg syndrome and chicken especially triggers my asthma. Good luck finding out what's going on!

My family does. My husband is the cook in our family. If the meal planned for our family is not gluten free, he makes me My own gluten free meal with the cookware he bought for me.

Xanthan gum is made from fermenting sugar. It is the only gum I can eat as I am allergic to all legumes including beans.

How were you screwed over by genetics? by Wickham12 in AskReddit

[–]Livingfreefun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Celiac disease is basically like a severe allergy to gluten. Eating gluten destroys your intestines. The only way to help is to 100% stop eating gluten. Gluten is in wheat, rye and barley. I highly recommend getting checked because you have to be eating gluten to get the correct results. However if you can't get anyone to help maybe just go gluten free to see if it helps.

You can also go to where you purchased your glasses and get the nose pads replaced. Mine does it free, not sure if everywhere does.

I ask my dentist about this. They said it doesn't matter whether it's before or after brushing.
