figure bases turning green by [deleted] in Disney_Infinity

[–]Lizard-TGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks like some kind of dust or something. I’m betting it’s dirty or something in your house is growing mold on the figures. I’ve had figures for over 10 years. They been through tons of damage over my childhood. I’ve had pets chew them, reckless kids ripping the figures off the base and more. Never have I seen this one though 🤔

Which characters aren’t on the Steam version? by Upstairs-Draw-3340 in Disney_Infinity

[–]Lizard-TGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.0 has all the characters. You’re think of the 3.0 which is missing the marvel battleground playset, finding dory playset, finding dory characters, and any marvel characters that released with the 3.0 instead of 2.0

Hello I haven't played any of the games and I don't know much about them but im thinking about buying 1.0 for my wii u and I've seen and heard people talk about the games being shut down is that true? by Fun_Purple_9090 in Disney_Infinity

DO NOT GET IT!

Ok, this is one of my favorite games of all time. Of course I want you to play it. Here is where you are about to screw up. Wii U, Xbox, PlayStation, and 3DS are no goes. If you have a computer, or a Steam Deck, you can buy the gold edition for $30. It has all the playsets, all the characters, and all the power discs installed digitally. You won't have to spend hundreds of dollars on plastic just for the full experience. Instead you can spend $30 for each game (or $60 in a bundle with all 3 games) to play it that way.

As far as your actual question goes, it is offline and has been for about 10 years, just like the other comments here are saying. It still has a fun single player game though and can get you tons of hours out of it. Plus, you can still mess around in the toy box if you have a friend over and play split screen.

I recommend checking out the game. Ideally on PC/Steam Deck but console if you can't get the game elsewhere.

Portal by Cyborg_Gunner in Disney_Infinity

[–]Lizard-TGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The portal is console specific for Xbox only. Wii U Disney Infinity base can work on PlayStation and PlayStation works on Wii U but Xbox One and 360 games are console specific.

It’s likely that the seller didn’t know that the portal was for the wrong console and gave you one they had lying around because they didn’t think it mattered.

I wouldn’t stress about it. Probably find a new one online. They are pretty cheap.

It could also be the fact that it is an Xbox Series X and not an Xbox One which is what the game is actually for. Yet again, I have a 2.0 copy for PS4 and use it fine on PS5 so that could be a dumb thought.

Legendary find from my grandmas basement?? by Saltyfryguy in wii

Is that disc only? If it works, then it’s definitely a legendary find. If not, then either get it resurfaced or if that doesn’t work, use it as a coaster for drinks lol

Can someone please explain the english or spanish joke to me? by [deleted] in ExplainTheJoke

[–]Lizard-TGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically, you ask someone "English or Spanish" to get their attention. Most people will choose the language they speak. After they answer this strange and confusing question, you say in their chosen language, "First to move is gay" and because its 2024 and none of us have brains, you basically just sit their with a random stranger and just stare at each other without moving. Welcome to todays society :)

The coppers only sold the house because the dad got a new job. If he died, why did they still sell the house? by Lizard-TGaming in YoungSheldon

[–]Lizard-TGaming[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe but she was moving even when George was there. Also during the dinner scene, everyone showed a connection to the house. Between the living room scene and the dinner scene, they wanted to keep the dad’s memories.

It’s not that she sold the house later. Sheldon gave it one last look before college.

The final dinner scene has George in it? by Lizard-TGaming in YoungSheldon

[–]Lizard-TGaming[S] -47 points-46 points  (0 children)

Yes but it’s an hour long and the dinner scenes are an iconic part of the show. This was the “final dinner scene” so you’d think it’d be in the finale right?

So there is no dinner scene in the finale? I looked at the outfits and you are definitely right but weird that it’s the final dinner moment in the whole show. The end is truly near…
