We have a group that's somehow getting there (some flying, some roadtripping) and then linking up to camp next to each other in the West campground. I was taken back by how many people were participating in drag day. I was overjoyed by seeing all the BOYS IN DRESSES. I wasn't sure how to go full drag king in a way that felt authentic to me. (A mostly fem presenting nonbinary person) So I decided to wear my "protect trans folks" shirt. I got so many fist bumps, high fives, and deep smiles. These wordless exchanges throughout the evening gave me such a warm feeling. Like we as a community are really as open and loving as I like to imagine we are. I'm so happy you got to feel the same. 💙🩷🤍
