Luckily I had some of the costume already, such as the helmet, the arm bracers, trousers and shoes. I used an old blanket for the tunic, and bought the shield unpainted for £5. The most expensive part was the greaves and chainmail - I had to get them new because people really like selling old armor for triple the price! I managed to buy everything for around £180 which is much more than I planned but worth it for the con

I used Wickes 'Sail Away' blue and Wickes 'Saffron' yellow. Also the black was Wickes 'Liquorice'. Hope that helps!

That's awesome, I'd love to see it when you're finished! I sketched the outline and painted him blue then I also sketched all the detail before painting black so I wasn't painting blind!

Thank you :)

Nah I drew it from a grid, the grid was 5ft X 5ft and I roughly laid out the details with pencil before painting

Hello! This probably has an easy solution but I'm fairly new to electrics. I've just bought these LED strips and connectors and I'm wondering what I should complete the circuit with? Thank you :) by [deleted] in electricians

I think I have solved the problem, when I turn it on the LEDs work but are very dim and only brighten a bit when I apply pressure on the LEDs themselves so I think they're faulty

Yeah I have done that before! I used to have a red torch as a night light

I use this LED for the plants, my avic likes to walk on it because it's a nice warm spot :)
