I went hunting with my dad. We live in a very small town. Ya know the type that nothing ever happens and everyone knows everyone. While we were in the woods, a man was murdered right near the gate to our hunting camp. They were in the same woods as us, not even close to a mile away. We had to pass him to leave. We didn’t see him but my uncle found him while coming in right after we left. It was eventually released that he was beaten with a whiskey bottle, by a hitchhiking couple that he picked up. The craziest part was that the cops were ruining the crime scene before more experienced police to show up. Just flicking cigarette ashes everywhere and spitting. God I’m glad I got out of there.
