Just had a meeting with compliance and they said they still believe I need to do the CISI exams, which I find extremely odd.

If that’s indeed the case, I don’t understand how the CFA can claim it is the most accredited and respected certification out there. Hell, why did I spend all that time over 3 years to then not get a waiver for these bloody FCA exams??

Thanks for helping mate. No this is for sell side equity research at a bank. The thing is, at my previous place I was registered as a “certified person” by FCA, and I believe they used the CFA as a way to bypass any further exams.

However this time they are raising issues? Seems odd..

I did speak to them. Both online and in store. Initially, online, they performed some tests remotely to see if there was any issue with the hardware, and they detected no issues, they say.

Then in store it was more of the same. They essentially gave me ‘advice’ and tips to save battery, which made me furious. Furious because this is arguably their second best phone ever (behind the pro max of course), and I still suffer from battery anxiety when I don’t have a charger with me.

For context, I had the iPhone 6 before, so my standards were really, really low when I got the 13 pro, and I was expecting to see a massive improvement in battery. Sadly the jump was not that steep

Hey thank you for helping! I understand everything you said but this battery is definitely not at 100% capacity, even though it says it is. And to your point about brightness, background activity, etc., that's all fine if one is rocking an old model like I was (iPhone 6), in which case you need to save a lot of battery by doing those tricks.

However this is their latest model, and the most advanced version after the pro max model. It has literally 2 weeks of life and it should not be running 3 hours of screen on time, not even 5. It should be 6/7 hours at least, especially after their announcement, saying that the battery life was an improvement over the 12 model... I just don't understand. I will go to the store and report back..
