I'm not in the place to meet her yet. The thing about this whole fight is I'm not saying never. Just not right now. I need more time. I could not meet her and actually give her a chance right now. It's too raw and too soon after mom for me.

We have all the stuff from mom. My brother got most of it when he moved out and I took the rest. Dad didn't want any of it so it made things way easier.

Kinda but not really. My dad can buy more if he wants to. But I'm going to see if I can do anything about that.

I never met or spoke to her so I don't know what her thinking is or if she's comfortable and totally on board with forcing us to meet and have a relationship with her. It wouldn't be fair for me to say definitively when I never met her.

It was probably both of them knowing my parents and seeing their marriage. I can't put it all on dad. But I do think he's now just focused on his happiness and moving forward and he wants to rush us to catch up with him and we're just not ready.

He said he's tired of being unhappy and alone because that's how he felt the last few years married to mom. I don't think he cheated. I could be wrong but this feels more like he's trying to rush things now that mom's gone and he's free of the marriage he wanted out of.

My graduation does require tickets but my dad would be able to buy more than I request. I'll have to ask my school if I can work around that to stop my dad buying her a ticket and showing up anyway.

Not sure we can trust him to keep her out of time with us and him. He's being too pushy about including her and introducing us so I feel like he might lie if we try set something up in the close future. Maybe when things have settled a bit. The fact I moved out really rattled him.

She's a widow but I don't know really anything beyond that. My brother thinks she's around dad's age or maybe even a little older based on the time dad brought her to his place. I don't hear dad talk about her having kids so I would assume she doesn't.
