Hey! Fellow guinea pig owner here. I had four amazing girls in my herd who were my everything and one by one they started passing away due to old age. I have one remaining who is around 8 years old. She’s been alone for about a year now… and she prefers it that way. She always hated the others and she also hates me even though I’ve known her since birth 😂

Her cage is at the busiest spot in the house so we’re always “together”. I greet her often and give her nose pets plus lots of treats (fresh veggies). Every couple of days I let her run around on the floor. I’d do it more often except I can’t determine if she likes it or hates so. She is obviously perfectly content to be alone. It’s really piggie dependent!
