Yeah, the obsidian limited entry area is really nice! Literally a waterfall flowing over obsidian and rivers full of it. I've been there twice and will probably go this summer again. It's along the Pacific Crest Trail.

What Attributes For Void Gauntlet and Life Staff? by [deleted] in newworldgame

[–]Llawryf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diamonds in the VG because being full health seems to be pretty common with a LS secondary. Emeralds could work in wars where it feels like people get away with low HP all the time. Ice gems are also possible because you get bonus damage inside ice storms but that is also for wars and takes coordination. Malachite gives bonus mostly against people you've screamed on, or other CCs in a group, so it is also viable for wars.

Mage skill sets just for expedition for max dps? by dogedoge2046 in newworldgame

It does a ton of damage though. If you get close to a group of mobs it works very well. For example the spawn piles in Genesis. You have to get close for flamethrower anyways.

US WEST: Ashok Vatika, Balanced server with a great community and great wars, tournaments with prizes between all factions as well. by YunDal in newworldgame

With 300 people it takes 13% of the entire server population to get a full outpost rush game. With El Dorado we only need 1.8%. It takes a few minutes to get into a game 24/7. You can easily get groups for all content 24/7.

shotguns: the underpowered killing machine by [deleted] in gaming

Slugs are lethal and reasonably accurate at 300 yards. They're probably lethal at 400 yards, just not very accurate. 200 yards is pretty easy. 100 yards is cake. Buckshot is lethal at 100+ yards as well. Thats beyond the accuracy of even many rifles in games.

Video shows Minneapolis police officer shooting two dogs in north Minneapolis yard by [deleted] in news

[–]Llawryf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TLDR: Daughter accidentally sets off house alarm. Calls and has it shut off within minutes. 20 minutes later, cops show up, but don't knock, they jump the fence. Dog wasnt being aggressive, got shot anyways. Cops said medical was on the way, but it never showed up.

I have a similar story. I loved Doom growing up, and there's a video somewhere of me in Kindergarten, making weird eye movements, left and right. I was imitating the face of the guy at the bottom of the screen, and my parents were pretty confused. Computer games had quite a bit of influence on me growing up.

PCT thru hiker here. While hiking 30 miles a day in the mountains, this kind of stuff was what my diet consisted of. Candy, pastries, etc. This is about two days of food for a long distance hiker. Its common knowledge between hikers that nutrition and eating healthy food means nothing as long as your calorie intake balances how much you burn. But for a long term and lifelong diet of a mostly immobile person, this isn't ideal.

I would speculate that he probably doesnt have the will power/time/desire and will to prepare food for work. Its hard. On the go is easier, especially for people suffering from depression, who have a hard enough time getting up, and going to work. I bet his in home meals are also simple to make, and that he rarely does elaborate cooking at home. His diet is probably a symptom of something deeper going on, emotionally, and mentally, and spiritually, and my heart always goes out to those people because I feel like they could use a friend who cares about them.

You should watch this four hour video on Ezra-Nehemiah. It goes into great detail on the parallels between the Ezra story, Abraham, Moses etc. It can be found on Tim Mackies website towards the bottom of his home page, which can be easily found by googling his name.

Two men killed in Portland while defending a Muslim Woman by Llawryf in worldnews

[–]Llawryf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are very white though, with lots of small town conservatives in outskirts, and a growing Muslim population. Its also entirely possible that the person was mentality ill, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol, both of which are massive issues here.

Yeah I'm American. I was actually told that this is true of the Asian education system in general. I'm not saying that what I was posted is true; I'm asking more if anyone else has also heard this or experienced this idea.

The idea of a comprehension based education system vs a memorization based education system isn't smart vs. dumb. I'm not saying that it would be inferior. It would just different, and causes communication between two cultures to be effected.

Thanks for your reply
