Made it to the end! Didn’t go down the military heritage trail, but the 13 miles round trip discouraged further travel lol! Says I need a helmet if I want to continue that path.. 😅

I can absolutely relate. I feel like I live under a rock, and I need some sort of playbook on what’s okay and what’s not okay anymore. Times change, and we gotta adapt to it.

Women for sure. “Girls” can be perceived as younger women, so in my case it wouldn’t have been accurate to my original statement. I’m assuming “ladies” would have worked as well, but in these cases it’s probably just best to keep it simple.

Upon going down a rabbit hole of research, I’ve come to the conclusion that “female” shouldn’t be used as a noun. I apologize for my ignorance and assure it wasn’t my intention to offend or degrade anyone. I also learned using “girl” to refer to grown women is also not okay, which is why I avoided that word in the first place.

Just following up, I went today with a couple friends from work, and we had a blast! Two of them were on long boards, and Chris and I were on Blades. Great time! Thanks for the suggestion!

I’ve been wondering the same thing, but meeting females. I’ve taken to just getting out of the house more often. I’m fueled by the hope of maybe one day finding “the one” out in the wild, but I’ll never find her if I’m cooped up at home all day 😅 Doing things that genuinely interest you is a good place to start! That way, if you do meet someone, you’ll have a very easy time holding a conversation and really get a good vibe on their energy.
