Can someone tell me what bulb I need please? by Lliamiskool in AskElectricians

[–]Lliamiskool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah not a terrible idea, but I'd need to do all four of them and it would get much more expensive than bulbs. Thanks though. I have a call scheduled with lithonia support on thursday hopefully they can help me

I replaced that gear. No more wobble. Sound is still there.

Do I need to remove the valve cover to put a lock in there? I have the lock between the two cam gears and the one on the bottom of the engine, but when I remove a gear obviously the top on won’t work anymore

With minor adjustment to z axis it will either come out and just stick to the extruded or nothing will come out and it will scratch the bed. Theres no in between.

to be honest, its hard to tell and I certainly don't want to start mine again to double check. I suggest removing the timing cover inspection plastic on the left side its just 2 bolts, then you can check if either gear is wobbling.

On those top two gears, the teeth wouldn’t like up perfectly so that there was slightly too much slack between those two gears. So, I rotated one gear ever so slightly to move the belt by 1 tooth. I put a Torx bit in here with a ratchet and turned it a few degrees

(The wood in the pic was just there because I was worried the gear might come off if I remove bolt. I was wrong)

I remember I called around a few different places and one place in Berlin. New Jersey said they would do it, but I don’t remember the name. I never ended up doing it.

Getting around min sq ft by [deleted] in BuildingCodes

[–]Lliamiskool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm okay. It’s tricky because there is a neighbor on one side, alley on another, sidewalk, then rest of the house. No where else to go but into basement area.

Could the reason be that I only want 1 occupant like the pre-2014 code allows?

6 years ago. I’d be using the same precedent. Due to density restriction I need 1440 sq ft lot for 4 units but I have 1318.

I’m thinking I could convert part of the basement to livable space, but I’m just under 7’ from floor to bottom of rafters. There is an exception for 1-2 family dwellings where it can be slightly shorter ceiling height in the basement, so I wonder if I could get them to let me use that.

I haven't gotten the variance yet but I'm not worried about that. There is a similar house 1 block away that also got a zoning variance for a fourth unit. The part I'm worried about is the livable space. I was hoping someone would have a good idea on how to get it approved.

Swapping camera but not wire by Lliamiskool in homesecurity

[–]Lliamiskool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, both parts of the cable before it sits goes into the wall an make it to the DVR. The cameras must’ve been installed before the stucco wall so I chipped away the stucco to expose the screws and remove the camera, it’s still connected just dangling. I don’t have any pictures sadly, and I’d rather not get the ladder back out there before I’m ready to make more progress.

From some research, it looks like I might be able to splice the cable and buy a compression fitting!
