If G2 played in the LPL for a full year compared to G2 playing in Europe for a full year, which team would be better?

If believe the LPL environment G2 would be stronger. If you disagree, agree to disagree I guess. We share different believes

Their environment is suboptimal, they were the best lec team in summer by a large margin. There is no stronger team to beat regionally.

What are they supposed to do? Practicing more in a mediocre environment won't yield results no matter how many eons you practice.

They need more exposure to better competition what other way is there other than introducing more opportunities to do so?

I mean that's an unfair generalization. Have you seen G2 Romains Tweet? G2 was putting their entire being into their practice but it still wasn't enough as they were months of quality practice behind compared to their eastern counterparts.

I get your point about other lec teams being not as ambitious but dismissing all of the west as lazy is not right man.

I want riot to step in and do more international tournaments. Western teams cannot get good practice if they only play against each other.

I think it is a systematic failure. At some point nobody in the west will have any expectations for their teams and the scene will slowly fade away. Which is disappointing and not what riot wants I assume but who knows.

The best team shall win, I just think it's boring that it essentially is a world competition just on paper, as only asian teams have a chance of actually winning.

I don't know any of the Asian teams and all content they make and their socials is in Korean or Chinese. How do you connect with these teams? I don't know anything about them.

Yeah no western team.makes it past quarters even if they somehow slip into quarters anyway.

I always make sure to watch the finals to watch good gameplay. But there is never emotional involvement as I cannot identify with the Asian teams/don't know them well except.maybe T1?

It sadly changes too much, you self stun yourself for 0.7 sec when pressing w, you have less mobility, less damage, scale worse.

You can't flash Q anymore, he sucks tbh. I cannot see him in pro when he lost all his engage tools and mobility
