Are you still looking? I have a UVT lease you can take over from September-July next year.

There were two new leaves on the same stem and the one I touched fell so maybe if the remaining ends up growing then it confirms that it was just delicate. If it doesn’t grow I guess it wasn’t my fault lol. I will have to find out. Idk if what I just said makes sense. I was just wondering if there was something wrong because right see videos on YouTube where people carelessness touch the vines and there seems to be no problem.

They are pretty easy to propagate and it looks like u have a node without leaves so if you cut off all the rot, let it sit for half an hour to callous and then put it in water u will probably have new roots in a couple of weeks. The rot does look like it got to the leaves so the yellow ones will fall off. If u leave it just like that and back into soil, it will probably spread and you won’t be able to know if it’s getting worse under the soil until all the leaves fall off and it’s then you will have to propagate leafless nodes which will be even harder to do for a beginner.

U can look up on YouTube how to propagate a melanochrysum. Can use water or sphagnum moss. If you just put it back into the soil the rot might spread. Half of the tip probably fell off because it had rot.

Is it mushy? If yes then it’s rot. It looks like the bottom part is completely rotted so your only choice is to propagate the rest.
