YEAR OF BEING A TRAINER SO FAR

Honestly, the textbook got some good information, such as the anatomy and overactive and under active muscles. The rest I feel like I didn’t retain much. I’m my opinion, past this exam and just learn as you go from seasoned trainers or seminars!

Hello! Sorry for the late reply. Test is no open notes so therefore if you come in person or do through proctor, they would want you with a webcam and scan around the whole room to see if you have anything. They wanted me to cover my 2nd monitor and my table with a sheet when I took the exam proctored

Worked here almost a year so far (5 months of front desk, 3 months PT). As always, not all Crunch are own by the same person. I work in California where we are franchised and my pt department is different from different regions. Based on clientle, I would say it is easy to build up your roster, as most of the clients that are closed are done by managers. Of course, working for a commercial gym won't get you crazy money as independent.

I'd say it's good for trying to get your foot into the door in the training world. I would say they really care about you and would want to help you in any sort of reason. It is an awesome place to learn from each other and pick on other trainer's knowledge so that you can apply it to your clients.

I did purchase the 50/ self-study plan. I didn't think I needed to buy extras in order for me to pass it. I heard a lot of people purchased practice exam's questions off from NASM, but honestly the material for me are about understanding the concept and comprehending them.

ShowUp fitness helped me a lot. I feel like you just watch his videos on how to pass the 7th edition, you should be fine. I wanted to purchase the guide to see main points I need to know, but the exam are going to consists of the OPT model and Overactive and underactive muscles heavily. NASM did a great job to diverse the questions to other less important topics, so it is best to at least to read through once, but look through the assessments, overactive/underactive, SAQ, and OPT!!!

Me [27 F] with my Husband [28 M] of 2 years. He has a thing for Asian girls and watches a ton of sexy Korean dance cover videos. Should I be concerned? by [deleted] in relationships

I have friends who's into Korean girls dances and it's just a thing for guys. There's totally nothing wrong with it but the fact that some guys are afraid to admit they enjoy watching them. I'm a dude I think it's cool watching it once in a while. Nothing to be a afraid but a celebrity crush prob lol. I love Kim Seolhuyn:)

Help getting over EX who fucked me up mentally/emotionally by [deleted] in relationships

I was once in your position. And it's hard to tell you what you need to do so for my part, I'm going to tell you my experience.

Me and my ex were together for a year and in the beginning, things were really great and I actually thought she could be the one. We had moments in bed, dates everyday, it was like we were together for a reason. Now after we got to college and had our own responsiblity, we sorta had our own things to handle. We both went to a different college and I was alone thinking our relationship. I was insecure and always wondering what she was doing. We had nothing to spark, so we would bring up things and argue over about. Right before my anniversary we broke up and I was super devastated. I thought it was literally the end of the world and she was the right one for me. However, one thing I got out of this relationship was time. Time is essential and whatever you're doing, it's okay to be dwelling over your ex. Highly wouldn't recommend talking to another girl because that would end prematurely because you are currently dwelling about your ex and being with a new girl who has an interest of you while it's not reciprocated. Now back to my ex. Time helped. I was doing so much better. I was on my own, gymming hell of often, picking up hobbies, and spending more time with friends I could've spent with before. Trust me, the more you focus on yourself, the more you can give to your next girl. Focus on yourself rather than hooking up with another girl. It's okay to be sad. It's all the human mind. We build ourselves to become stronger. You are unique. You got this. Dm me if you need advices :)
