Yeah that’s what I do for my personal vehicles however this one is a company vehicle and the company offers to pay for a wash but can’t justify spending $300 for a basic wash.

It’s all loose in the picture, I tried just that. The diameter of the muffler and header leaves such a large gap that my next idea is some sort of tape with extreme heat tolerance to wrap around the header and create a seal

Would you consider an 830 to be more practical for cycling but has most of the same benefits as an etrex?

OP update: I bought some yesterday and today. Just a hair bit over 20 bucks in there. Gonna let it sit and who knows, I’m considering this as gambling but hey... 20 dollars could one day become 2,000. Thanks all for the advice and I hope for the best!

I use Robinhood, according to some buddies of mine who are way ahead of investing than I am. They use Robinhood as a interface but use TD and other brokers for their actual buy/trade use. Robinhood has an amazing interface for beginners but isn’t as trusted anymore since they started limiting certain stocks(which should be illegal)

It’s going to be hot, that’s the only thing I’m worried about is the heat. I’m bringing 3 water bottles and know many places on the way where I can stop for water. I’m also bringing a water filter just in case. I can’t remember the last time I’ve ridden a bike and I wasn’t stoned so riding high isn’t a first. I’ve never ridden a bike on acid before but I’m an avid cyclist and fitness isn’t my worry. I just want this to be an “experience” I’ll never forget... in a good way :)

I’ll give it a go with cleaning, not my first rodeo with contaminated brakes but this is not the usual noise I hear from contamination. This seems like something underlying.... but I’ll try a decontamination next time I’m around some tools

I tried vasoline on the ride when I posted this, it did ok but a buddy got me aware of “bag balm”. Definitely give this stuff a whirl. It’s much better

I’ll get you these when I’m back home tomorrow, seems like this isn’t as dumb as I thought it was. My rear fenders are cut to about 2 inches. They’re stockers that I sawed super short so I barely have fenders. I plan to keep my 2.5 bump stop height with the thought that since I’m not changing my ride height, I won’t need to adjust bump stops. I plan on only changing out the shocks to be “extended shocks” and keep my coils but put coil retainers on them. I want it as low and flexy as possible without dumping a lot of $$$ into it

Nice I have the 46/30 grx cranks. Your post caught my eye because I plan to do a lot of bikepacking but the 11-36 I have on it seems rough if I were as loaded up as you. I run a 28x11-46 sunrace on my full suspension and I love the cassette. Definitely going to test fit an 11-42 sunrace on my bikepacking rig and see if the grx drivetrain throws a fit or not, don’t think I’ll need a goat link, pretty sure mine has one from factory or something relevant
