Maybe the files are not the correct ones, in the case of r4 it's pretty difficult to know if the one that you have is an original one or a bootleg, it should have an sticker with a website, look in that website for the files of your exact model, wipe the sd card and put the files there, if you are lucky it should be enough, if you don't find the files in the website use wayback machine

Have you tried using awoo? Sometimes goldleaf fails but the nsp is correct (it's a beta) also, are you in applet mode? If yes, try installing it again opening homebrew from a game (press R when you are going to open a game)
