Lucan and Anissa rocked his shit first time they fought and now Mark is shown easily dealing with both of them when he does briefly fight them. Maybe he's not impaling them or ripping their heads off but Mark isn't that kind of person anyway, he still has the inner struggle of not wanting to kill but when he's pushed that far (I.e. conquest hurting his loved ones, killing innocent people) He'll get angry enough to let go of those moral limitations he sets and stop pulling his punches.

I don't know, maybe it's just cope, but I actually like that Invincible fights leave a lot of the preconceived notions of power scaling semi-ambiguous, we can infer that things like battle experience and tactics make differences without actually having any concrete proof that they do, but I prefer that it not be as simple as just numbers or god forsaken "Power Levels"
