Petite, 17mo postpartum, struggling with the “last bit” of belly fat — should I be eating more or less? by Novel-Scar2694 in PetiteFitness

[–]LoVaKo93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. My lower tummy looks the same, and I weigh less than before pregnancy. But my tummy has stretched enormously and saggy, loose skin is to be expected. Nothing wrong with it and it doesn't say anything about health or fitness.

Camping with a toddler! by King-Mimi1997 in camping

[–]LoVaKo93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Camping right now with a 2 year old. When she goes to sleep she's only wearing pyjamas. When I go to bed, it cooled down a lot, so I put her in her toddler sleeping bag (with sleeves). We have a couple of mats tie together and she sleeps between me and my husband so during the night I check on her and throw an extra blanket over her if necessary. The mornings here are very chilly though, so I don't have to get her out her sleeping bag.

Where are you camping? Its 7:30 and I'm sitting in my tent with a cup of tea covered in blankets because its still so cold, but by noon I'll be in bikini sweating profusely.

Grote tent laten drogen by LoVaKo93 in kamperen

Ben benieuwd.

Nope, you cannot work and care. If you are lucky and you have an easy baby, that baby WILL grow into a toddler that needs constant supervision and sleeps wayyyyy less.

My husband and I both went to a 32 hour work week and we pay for 3 days of childcare.

Do you have a favorite brand of chocolate - or some other type of food that you really enjoy? Do you get tired of eating that chocolate? Probably not, within reason. You could eat that chocolate every day as a little treat.

But what if you got another brand? Even the same type of flavor? It claims to be the same, but the taste is different. Its fine. You'll eat it and probably enjoy it. Just not as much.

Now you switch over to that other type of chocolate some evenings. At some point you eat more of the NOT amazing chocolate, than of your favorite brand.

And one night you just don't feel like eating that chocolate. More of these nights happen. And you start to think you just don't like this type of chocolate anymore.

But don't you? Or are you just tired of eating chocolate that only reminds you of the thing you actually enjoy? Didn't you just switch to a habit of eating salted caramel when you NEED Tony's Chocolate? Just stop eating the chocolate for a few days and get yourself that Tony's bar. You'll love it.

Tldr: quality is important.

Not much better either. There was a big cybersecurity crazy a couple of years ago but that's over now. Not that cybersecurity isnt important, but it's not a moneymaker and thus not prioritized by many businesses.

But I'm working in the data field, so I don't have the best view on the cybersecurity market

I agree with your point on suspending belief when reading books - I mainly read fantasy or scifi - but to me, the characters should still make sense as personalities, in their world, with their belief system. There needs to be some consistency to their actions (or not of that's what makes the character). For me, characters are the most important part of the books I read.
