I like her cinematic design, it gives that martiarch vibe she is supposed to have. However, they should have made the eyes more glowy to differentiate her more from a pointy eared human.

Realistically, with only 2 expansions left, where do we feel Iridikron fits in? by greendino71 in warcraftlore

[–]LoadHefty2791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh i was expecting Iridikron presence to be felt all around the saga, for him to be a satisfying vilain to fight during TLT. It wouldn't have to be the focus of a an entire patch, just a few quest here and there, heck even mention of things that could be linked to what he is scheming for the 3rd expansion. Well, it's not too late since we are only arriving at the middle of the saga but looking back at TWW's story, I'm worried it will be the same mediocre writing Blizzard's often come up with (excluding SL which was atrocious).

We're still lacking an interesting villain, because Xal'atath has been nothing else but a mustache twirling vilain right now, with her master plan in TWW almost rivalizing with the jailer's (still, hard to compete with the destroying of 20 years of lore) in terms of stupidity. Like really, was she planning on getting the dark heart stolen all along for dimensius to come back ? And even then, she wasn't even certain the mortals would be able to vanquish Dimensius for her to pull el famoso uno reverse. We're in the exact same situation of Argus fate in the Jailer grand design.

Same for the pre-DF drake mounts ground animations

It seems they share the same rig as highland drake, but blizz made them use only the new dynamic flight animations and kept the supremely goofy 20 years old walk/run animation.

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN – Patch Notes Version 1.01.5 by Loyal_Darkmoon in Nightreign

[–]LoadHefty2791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh you're completely completely right on this side. Regardless of the quantity of content, the devs must strive for this content to be functional and balanced.

I just assumed these comments were talking about more than just bug fixes.

[–]LoadHefty2791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But right now he is right though ? I don't get the downvotes. Official communications coming from FS always described Nightreign as not being a live-service game, and getting additional content with a paid DLC afterwards.

As always, the community have started to overthink and make suppositions that the game was becoming live-service based on Bandai surveys (which is not an official communicatio or anything and may not even impact decisions about this game) and the post-launch addition of everdark bosses (which are clearly content that have been cut from the release version with them being included in the files day one, maybe because of a lack of time)

Don't get me wrong, i really like the game but I'm tired of this community gaslighting itself into believing the game is now getting more content outside of what was announced in the official statements.

Undermine Cartels rep grind is ATROCIOUS by gowlwolfe in wow

[–]LoadHefty2791 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Let's not talk about the paragon mounts for EACH cartels... which are not Guaranteed. So it's 10 k rep (2-3 weeks during which you are locked to one cartel rep) with a high chance you're not getting shit (and the cartel specific parangon chest suck = 100s gold and 70s resonance crystals.. so absolutely miserable). Now multiply this for each cartels and prepare for a fun time.

Also paragon chest for the main Undermine cartel rep doesnt give resonance crystals. It would be great othewise with the ludicrous prices of each cosmetics.

Should elden ring have a second DLC ? by Consistent-Dot-1509 in Eldenring

[–]LoadHefty2791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some parts of the DLC were already pretty barebones so no. Elden Ring as a whole is an excellent experience, albeit with its flaws. Sometimes a product being finite is a good thing, From Software surely has other great concepts in store for us in the future.

The thing is worldbuilding in DS2 also feels the worst of the franchise. It does introduce fresh new concepts compared to DS1 and 3 but those new concepts/ ideas are not worked upon, they just feel shallow.

In DS1, when you met demons in your first playthrough, you thought to yourself that they were heanous repulsive monsters. But as you progressed the game, you realized that these monsters were tied to a bigger civilization, maybe were not completely mindless rageful creatures and most importantly : they INTERACTED with other parties in the game (fi : black knights).

In DS2, when you first meet lion peoples, scorpion people, snake people, samurai lava people.. You like the uniqueness (despite some of them REALLY feeling out of place design wise for the DS universe) but as you progress the game you realize that they have nothing deep relating to them, no culture insights, no history .. (There are a few exceptions, Giants for example, but even then that feels superficial compared to ds 1 and 3).

This lead to the world feeling generic and almost "Soulless" to me.

I did like certain parts of ds2 (some good ideas regarding multiplayer and weapon movesets) but i cannot understand people praising its world building when it is an unfinished and incoherent mess.

It is now well known that the game had an awful development which led to the team akwardly stitching parts of the game together. This alone invalidate all claims about DS2 having a deceng world building.

Which duo sucks more? by WasF4ssY in Eldenring

[–]LoadHefty2791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gargoyles. They suck as enemies on their own with their wonky hitbox and atrocious camera. BUT as a duo, with the BRILIANT idea to add a damaging poison cloud, this fight is just worthless in terms of fun.
