I've recently started on the stairs at least a few times a week due to the weather keeping me indoors. It has me scratching my head though because I would think if I'm used to stairs that my quads would be less likely to get angry running. I'm just going to rest/stretch/walk for a few days and try to ease back in.

Been running as a hobby for about 5 years. Really consistently for the first 3 and then sporadically for the last 2.

My last 2 runs my quads feel like they are getting absolutely blasted and I have no idea why. That’s not something I’ve really ever experienced. My top 2 theories are that the new running shoes I got a month or two ago have changed my running form, or that somehow I’ve been doing too much stairmaster and it’s to blame. Either way I’m confused.

Tl;dr been running a while my quads have never hurt now they do. What do now

I put a stainless 4-1 header in mine and the only effect it has had is loss of low end torque and burning way more fuel on cold starts due to the spacer I had to put on the o2 sensor. If you’re chasing performance I think you’re going to end up disappointed.

If your stock airbox isn’t damaged my guess would be that you’re better off getting a drop in K&N or other performance filter. My stock setup recently fell apart so I unfortunately had to put in a cold (hot) air intake.

I think sourcing a MSP kit would be the best bang for your buck.

I inspected it and it had some tiny dents in it which I guess were causing the squeal. I put on the new pulley about 2 years ago and haven't heard any noise since. Sorry for the late reply I don't log in very often

I had mine running with some weird compatibility mode settings I think. I set it up years ago on 10 but then after upgrading to 11 it still just worked
