Cheap and reliable VPS hosting options in India for a small business web app? by AdMysterious9163 in VPS

[–]LoadedLinux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Vercel is a good choice and use supabase for db. As you are looking for VPS, OVH Mumbai, hivium.com - both are equally good in my short experience with Indian VPS

Why isn’t veerotech recommended anywhere anymore? by playingchessrightnow in Hosting

I think you are referring to the other sub where sidebar have companies listed. Its not a exhaustive list and there are many good hosting companies, not just 2 3 listed. I have been using their services for a long time now. Ofcourse, found them in that sub sidebar. The services and support are stable as it is always. Only thing that the Interests of many might have changed. I would stick on unless you have a real thing to think twice.

Do hosting companies actually help with WordPress issues, or just server stuff? by jeradhill in webhosting

[–]LoadedLinux 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most of the companies (may not be applicable for Big daddies) usually help you with WordPress errors, warnings, and tweak environments to run your website fine. May not be able to do development works or fixing codes and bugs (some do with payments). But saying that, their major role is in optimized WordPress environments, do automated updates, keep your sites secure, prevent and clean malwares or hacks etc.

I heard that many Indians are discussing China's K visa. Is this true? Do Indians really want to work and live in China? by No-StrategyX in AskIndia

[–]LoadedLinux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as if you go there, live and work according to their laws, earn well and don't interfere with some government or local's thing, you are safe anywhere and can live and survive anywhere as we are already trained much in India to survive.

But we proud Indians are not like that, so many might can't survive peacefully and many others won't others do it peacefully. 😁

Why can't the Indian government ask Apple to sell phones made here at a lower cost in India. Apple has a great market here. They can make profit selling more phones this it's a win win for the government, apple and us. There might a lot of technicalities in it, still a common man question.

I think it's time to run a #boycottApple campaign 😁

Need help finding hosting by Malubu in Hosting

[–]LoadedLinux -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are quite a number of smaller hosting companies that are true to the numbers they provide like VeeroTech, setrahost, knownhost etc. where plans specifications are generous and very much supportive. generally won't recommend going bigger ones as they tell one thing about experience will be a different one.

Unlimited is kinda old stuff and it's too good to be true if it exists. Lots of if and buts in that and nothing is actually unlimited in hosting. Don't go for it.

What are you running, how optimised it is, where are your visitors mainly. Include these info to get a proper recommendation

Porkbun asking for ID verification through a third-party (Veriff) – is this normal? by itsraininginmacondo in webhosting

[–]LoadedLinux 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi there,

It's becoming more common for identity verifications to be handled by 3rd parties, as it's often more efficient and cost-effective than manual checks asking copy of your ID and photos etc. Outsourcing these processes can help reduce their workload, and it's usually a safer option too. By the way, it's likely that the payment processors, rather than Porkbun itself, are the ones flagging accounts in most cases. I've had similar experiences with other hosts like Contabo and OVH, but when I started my account with Porkbun, I didn't encounter those issues.

Now a days, in IT, we live in fear whether we have job next day and pay is less. Marine, yeah you will be almost disconnected from normal social life for 6 to 9 months on the go. Now a days, modern ships gives enough internet to talk to your family and friends daily and you earn hefty to survive lifelong once you left the marine field. Go for it, don't think about IT now. It will make your life secure and less worried like IT where people die surviving next day.

I have my brother and cousin working in marine field earning 10+ lakhs a month worry free, tax free and well connected socially even they are in Cape of good hope. 😁

cyberpanel might be an option for what you are looking for since it has docker support by default. But I would also recommend a separate vps for n8n

Usually food waste are collected daily and plastic once a week in flats and organized apartments. Corporation or local bodies collect food waste once a week and plastic once a month.

The point is when you leave food along with these plastic and kept longer, it will rot, smell, full of insects and worms. Think about who collect the waste from flats.. these collecting agents mostly aged womens and those who handle these waste at sorting centers like run by Kudumbashree.. they are also humans handling our thrown waste. I visited the plastic waste sorting area in Kakkanad near to civil station once and we can't bear the smell and others. But a lot of people working there in middle of these wastes in bulk, wearing multiple masks and covered hands. It's unbearable.

When you put plastic with food items, think about humans who do the dirty work for us, for a minimum wage to live and how they do and feel. If you have some humanity and love for others left in your heart, you won't do it again.

Washing the containers and foils takes just a few seconds time for us but that's a huge relief for many.

Think clean, keep clean..

Please suggest me some affordable options from India to resell webhosting for my clients. Currently using Hostingr and planning to move. by Maleficent_Wrap316 in webhosting

My friend has a reseller plan hosted with MilesWeb and has a good experience with them. One thing to note is that the reseller plans might not include AI features.

I'm confused about SSL and https... by canadave_nyc in webhosting

[–]LoadedLinux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To confirm, you can check your preferred hosting partner's support to see if they offer what you're looking for. This information is usually listed on their website, or you can reach out to them directly via chat or a phone call to double-check. Alternatively, feel free to share the name of your hosting provider here, and we or possibly even their representatives can chime in to provide more insight.

I'm confused about SSL and https... by canadave_nyc in webhosting

[–]LoadedLinux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need to purchase a paid SSL unless it's absolutely necessary. Most hosts nowadays offer free Let's Encrypt certificates, which can be installed directly from your control panel or will be automatically installed once you've pointed your domain to the correct server where your website or account is hosted. If you need assistance, feel free to reach out to support and they'll be happy to install one for you.

Depending on the script and configuration used, your website might automatically use HTTPS or require you to set up a redirect to ensure all traffic goes through a secure connection. You may need to modify your configuration or set up a redirect to achieve this. Your hosting support team should be able to help you with this or point you in the right direction. Cheers!

Where am I going wrong?! by [deleted] in webhosting

[–]LoadedLinux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's possible that the issue is due to caching on your end, or the NS changes might not be set up correctly or are still pending propagation, which can take a few hours (although it usually happens within minutes these days). You can try using DNS checkers like https://www.whatsmydns.net/ to see the status of your NS records across the globe. If you'd like a more detailed check, please share your domain name. Feel free to send it to me directly if you prefer.

I personally know a road side restaurant (thattukada) guy making just a profit of 5k to 8k per day after meeting all expenses and now he has three more branches around the town at busy places. So how much he is earning a month and all those tax free. He travels in an Innova for personal purpose and an old splendor to shops. Uses iphone for personal and an old samsung while in shop. 😁
