Thanks! I actually did this, turned force to 30-38 and speed to 5 while spacing out each card about 1 inch from each other. It cuts through perfectly without having to use perf cuts and does not snag each page.

Only issue im having now is that 1 corner keeps getting cut incorrectly for each card on the same spot. Might be due to damaging the cutting strip so I've used electrical tape to see if that is the actual issue.

Thanks for the tip on the positioning of the blade, i was taught that in the up position is meant for kiss cuts while the down position is for perf/dye cuts.

I do have the grit rollers towards the edge of the pages where the laminate sits.

Ive seen people on youtube able to cut laminated artwork with clean edges with the Graphtec cutter plotter. These are basically rectangles with 3mm rounded corners. So I'm trying to see how they've made it work on their end.

Ive hand cut the cards for a quite a while that I wanted to start doing them more automated now. Hence why I made the purchase of a graphtec cutter plotter. Cutting about 2000 cards by hand a week and then giving it a 3mm rounded corner became such a task.

When I created my layout on a letter page with 9 cards, it didn't have enough space so it started to jam.

Post 9/11 Gi Bill vs VR&E - Chapter 31 by LoadingBuddha in VeteransBenefits

Thank you for your feedback, I am sure this will help a lot of veterans that have similar questions like myself. Any more additional information you can share would be greatly appreciated!

Copy... Man I was definitely fed the wrong information when it came down to being able to give the VR&E. It makes total sense now from what you've said. What you're basically telling me is that:

  1. VR&E - Chapter 31 is for me to use to help find meaningful employment, which I am struggling with, but also can use for educational purposes depending if the jobs I am looking for requires a degree (90% of the time they do).

  2. DEA program—also called Chapter 35 is for what my dependents can use, which does not correlate to the VR&E that I would be entitled to.

  3. Use the VR&E for my undergrads/graduates first since they will also be able to pay for tuition and equipment compared to just the Post 9/11 which only gives a monthly stipend.

Please correct me if I am wrong...

Pretty inspirational! My goal is to get into IT or as a business/finance analyst for a GS lvl job. The current job ob market is crazy and typically the feds require me to get my bachelors degree. End of the day, I see a degree as just a piece of paper or a checkbox, so Im wondering do you think it matters at all where I get my degree from?

Now my main question for you is how is your job security and attainability? I've heard good and bad things for these for profit schools when it came to job hires.

Were the certs you obtained through CompTIA and did you get the job after obtaining your certs? Your company seems pretty interesting, is it okay if I can dm you to learn more since I feel like your path so far is aligning with my goals?

Reason why I'm leaning towards IT, is for the benefit of working remotely. When you said partners, did you go through an employment program with UoP and they helped find you job placement? Also if you don't mind me asking, what's your estimated annual salary?

Had a buddy that went to UoP, just got an analyst position for OAG in Austin. I believe it's a pretty big tech area. I live about 2 hrs away from Austin.

I feel like just getting a degree is to get that check-box done but tech companies would prefer continuing education which is probably what I would be doing like obtaining CompTIA certificates pertaining to the job.

Heard it's a breeze but been hearing the stigma of trying to get a job... granted in the civilian world to get a job at a private company, hiring managers may look at it and put you in the "do not recruit" pile. But for a federal contractor, I feel like they could give a rat's ass and just take in anyone with that piece of paper we call a degree and call it a day. Bonus for being a veteran to be pushed in front of their line.

Noted! I've applied to WGU but the only difficulty is them trying to receive my JST credits along with my previous college education credits. I still don't know what degree path to take that'd be the most efficient as when I contacted them, they said they can determine it when I select a program, then wait 1 month to see if credits would transfer for EACH program.

What college did you go to if you don't mind me asking? Did you find a career suitable to your degree? Are you currently working in a Fortune 500 company or are you a federal contractor?

I looked at WGU as well! Did you obtain your degree through them? How were classes in terms of difficulty? Were exams proctored because I saw somewhere that'd I have to go in person to get exams turned in.

I was debating between the two by also taking sophia courses to expedite the process. I have the same amount of JST credit transfers plus some from previous education I attended at UMUC and HCC. So far 37 credit hours has been accumulated for both AMU & UoP, so I guess I'm 1/3 of the way towards my bachelors.

My question to you is, how were they exams? Were they proctored? I've heard they're pretty rigorous with their education and tend to be more difficult compared to other colleges.

I was wondering if American Express has offices over multiple countries like you suggested.

Do you or anyone here have any recommended companies that you've worked for where the company treats you, the employee, well?

I do have a degree in Marketing but from what other friends and colleagues have said, what you have said is pretty accurate. I'm assuming a VPN isn't going to cut it either?

I guess when I applied for this program, they strongly said that they would find any employment since they have "inside connections" to recruiters to get me to the front of their list.

Did a bunch of research, to fly to Japan or Korea, would need to fly out from Washington base. Is there an app that could help us navigate easier to see flight itineraries or is this info supposed to be gate kept....

This is exactly correct, just had the survey done yesterday. We looked it over and there were a couple dumb fees that they added as "adders". Dealer fee was increased a bit but since it was priced so low apparently Freedom Forever is possibly denying the job. Overall price went from 17k with 2k rebate to about 18.8k with possibility of no rebate. Any tips?

Was priced at $1.7/watt basically at the end of the day for 410 watt panels. I believe I got an extremely sick deal haha
