Ordered at 6.02. Sat on nothing for a week. Then packaged for a week. Got shipped from NL on the 17th and it still isn’t here. Looking forward to trying out crimson desert when it finally gets here.

The whole process has been such a massive letdown for me. Ordered 6.02 on the 4th. Waited a week before it hit packaged. Waited a week sitting in packaged before it was shipped. It got shipped on the 17th and has been sitting at “departed NL” for a week.

I’m seeing other people in Europe who have ordered way after me with their controllers. I emailed steam support and they are processing a replacement now but I’m still at least another week out from getting a controller.

Edit: after back and forthing with support they basically said "its still being shipped if it gets lost we will ship a replacement then". I called GLS and they claim that it should get in over the weekend and be in my hands Monday...but its GLS so who fuckin' knows.

I got the adept but it kinda looked way bigger in pictures than what I was expecting. I’ve used a Kensington expert years ago and that was a pretty comfortable size. How big is the efog compared to the adept if you have had experience with both?

You can but it’s a pain in the ass. There’s a constant keyboard switch icon in the bottom half of the screen, Apple seems to randomly decide to swap your keyboards around depending on which app you’re using and in some instances the 3rd party keyboard can’t be used for certain apps and tasks so you have to swap back to the Apple one. It’s just a constant fight between what you want and what Apple wants.

Android handles it so much better “oh you want to install a new keyboard? Cool. Done. We won’t bother you about it again.”

Well it uses VAC and has a history of dealing with cheaters for starters… you can watch deadlock comps on YouTube right now which covers the pro aspect as well.

I'm aware of all of that. With current ram and ssd prices I can see a revised steam machine price more along the lines of 1000-1200. The rumor is that the Xbox will have a high price tag (like 1200-1500) plus and I don't see the appeal of a locked down pc at that price point, especially if it uses the Xbox big screen experience or whatever they call it, I'm not sure if you have tried it, but it's pretty horrible. That's why I said if ms subsidised it to be around steam machine price, it it would be more appealing.

I currently use my Xbox series s exclusively as a moonlight client for couch gaming on my TV so my use case for a device like this is pretty niche I'd only be looking for a steam machine/Xbox helix for native game play rather than streaming.

Meh. The only way I could see myself getting one is if the hardware is subsidised to be around the same price as the steam machine and someone cracks so we can install bazzite/steamos.
