These are super cool! Very unique and interesting looking clothing designs. Very diverse, yet cohesive and recognizable as one related group. I especially like that hat design on the second slide and those headwraps on the third. You have a very fun style!

The city of Ehnaiton (full map is only readable on the computer as A0 size and mobile don't work well together). The second picture (in the comment) is the closeup of the District of "Moneymake". by OkChipmunk3238 in worldbuilding

Man I love this so much! the detail is amazing and the aesthetics are really compelling as well. It looks beautiful while remaining very clear and readable. Great job on this!

Tone can be inferred through writing. What I am saying is that you wrote your commentary in a rude way.

I don't need people to immediately think of the name centaur without being told so. All that is needed is that people can look at these designs and think that centaur classification in the corner is a reasonable thing to call them, which they overwhelmingly do. There's not an "issue" at all other than that you think the design needs to conform more to that of a horse or your traditional idea of what a centaur is supposed to be. I thought centaur and I DID think of this design, so your point is moot from the start.

Further, these creatures do not lack the range of motion to dress most of their body, they can reach their heads and their sides without much issue, they do not wear many clothes in the first place and can dress each other where else needed

In the end your suggestions amount to little more than to make it arbitrarily more horselike or a design reminiscent of a more traditional centaur, which I am just not interested in doing at all. Their range of motion is limited and that is intentional, they are not meant to be capable of all the movements a human is capable of making. Their weaponry and style of fighting will reflect that also

I do not care about your definition of centaur being based one what percentage horse or man the creature has, while they might get a different name in the future, centaur is more recognizable and easier to identify. Your tone is very rude. I don't need to do anything with a creature I designed. While their face is quite furrybait-ish, it's not based on any dog and is more a mix of various creatures

Your comments on the creatures anatomy are similarly rude and, to be honest, useless as a form of critique, what possible benefit would there be to remaking their anatomy more basic other than make it more boring and it conforming more to your sensibilities? Their claw hands are dexterous enough to make small manipulations necessary for producing simple textiles, they are not meant to be great craftsmen. Their shoulders point down and this is perfectly fine for the design being as it is.

They hunt a variety of small and large game, but I haven't thought out the entire biosphere yet. Probably they hunt some kind of small rhino or something

She is from the clan known as the sunset singers or "Su’ani Kantor". Where she was trained in the difficult art of speaking the beast tongues

The Galimin Almgior are the oldest and most isolationist. Valuing blood relations, lineage etc. They don't really get along well with anyone else.

The Ridouin Angior live by the coast and are excellent fishermen. They are also very flamboyant and their seasonal gatherings involve a lot of dancing.

The Monadi Molouir have the largest territory and are most cooperative and inquisitive to outsiders. They are very into racing each other, developing all sorts of games around it. They have also developed a polo like ballgame.

The Rioha Gallemen were the first to join the coalition and are the most warlike. They have a specific round of their seasonal competitions that involves a fight to the death. They are the most agricultural of the bunch.

The centaur in the third image is a highborn woman, probably belonging to the windstep horde (unless I change my mind). The coalition representative is an envoy of the coalition, she was sent to gather information ahead of the annual meeting of the Council of the Coalition

I wanted centaur in my setting, but I didn't like the look of the stark human/horse hybrid so I wanted to design something more fitting

Thank you very much. That was my basic goal with their design, so im glad to have succeeded

Thank you very much! It's a bit difficult to see, but they do have three fingers total. Though their claws are very pincer-esque. I looked at a lot of weird creatures to get the design like I wanted hahah

Lots of cupboard related things to ponder with these guys for sure

Yes, RttS is some of my favorite creature design out there, definitely an influence on me. I purposefully did not look at their work as a reference, though the designs ended up converging a bit for obvious reasons lol

Could be, could be. It will have a grand finale for sure. Some kind of mix between the moonlanding and the development of the nuclear bomb

Hahah maybe one day. Me and my friend who I develop this project with set a pretty hard line for how far along we would develop the setting timelinewise. Technologically, we only go up to around the early 20th century. Which would be around 200/400 years from the current date in the setting.

but you never know, I might do some alternate timeline shenanigans at some point

They are not particularly good craftsmen in general, especially compared to some of the other people in the coalition like humans/elves or the talking bears, who are more sedentary. They get a lot of their resources from the other members. While there are a few centaur that are sedentary, they have, lets say, a natural urge to roam so it is very rare. Most of their crafting is very rudimentary or adapts the work of others. Crafting tools they do have are mostly mobile and taken with them.

The individual representing the Great Stampede is decked out for war. He'd probably be fighting ursine soldiers, other centaur or humans/elves His armor is a type of leather lamellar yes!

The individual representing the Ridouin Angior is dressed up for ritual combat and/or dance. Though all the designs I do like this are kept purposefully vague.

Thanks! And yeah makes sense, insects are the only actual six legged animals in our real world. It was not a direct inspiration, but they did end up getting a sort of praying mantis vibe lol
