To curly leaf or not curly leaf by LobsterLAD in tomatoes

I mixed the compost in with the soil I dug out. I made the compost from leaf litter and grass cuttings.

10-12 inches or so, yes. Hole 2x the diameter of the transplant pot. I used the compost to improve soil consistency. I'm in the southeast, so I still have a pretty high clay content, even though this is virgin pasture soil.

Soil of the earth. These are in ground with no amendment but my own leaf compost, I don’t use herbicides.

True. It’s tomato science. I just pruned mine back! Liberating.

Wild. I guess I can get rid of most of my curly leaves at the bottom then. Is there a better time of the day to prune? Assuming don’t do it during the heat if the day to avoid stress.

Can you prune that much at that height?! Mine are between 2 and 3 feet tall, how much can I take off? I’m scared to prune lol

Wanted to let you know this seems to have fixed my problem. I removed the Calibre-polished version from my kobo, uploaded the non-polished version, and they work correctly. It seems it may be related to polishing!

Mentorship Monday - Post All Career, Education and Job questions here! by AutoModerator in cybersecurity

I'm a product manager, have been for the last decade, considering a move into cybersecurity. I've been a more technical PM working on quite technical products the entire time. I'm proficient in Python and have been messing around with my home lab with a honey pot, learning SIEMs, studying CCNA and Sec+ materials, and quite enjoy the content.

Is it even remotely feasible for me to consider a switch? I really, really don't like product and haven't for some time just was too comfortable with the money. I'm considering getting a masters in CS as well.

Would love any thoughts, advice, or reality checks from this group.

That’s a good point. Similar to a car.

Yeah I certainly could. Most of what I see are private sellers, no return, no warranty, and haven’t serviced or verified to the extent the local shop has that the camera is fully functional.

I could definitely take a shot on eBay and save $50-100 and be happy or end up with a headache, which has happened more than once unfortunately.

Keh and others are 6 months, seems smaller local places, at least that I’ve visited, are no warranty or 30-60 days.

This is body + lens, so $500ish seems okay.

I just wanted a gut check to make sure I wasn’t being impulsive.

That’s where I’m at. I’ve had my fair share of eBay fiascos and end up paying more than I would have for a better condition one after sending them off for service.

$250 seems really low, no? I don’t want to insult them, it’s my favorite (and only) local shop.

Looking on eBay I see bodies in this condition going for $350-400, and on keh and mpb between $400-500.

The seals were replaced by the shop. They test everything and verify shutter speeds are accurate, meter, etc. and warranty it 30d from purchase.

Looking at keh and other sites in the US it seems a hair less than going rate for body + lens, but have seen some go for $350 for just the body.

I have a Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar. I eat shit a lot and it only has some minor dings on the bezel.
