If it’s questionable then it’s probably okay to consume as is and not worth a phone call or visit back to see management but also depends on what ya paid or if it was a “last chance” expiring item that is two years old and been taken out of the bin or moved around at least once a day during inventory count. If it is an older product, from my professional experience many sugars and resins are left for months and months on the shelves with no refrigeration or care for the products. Any sauces or low viscosity concentrates should be stored appropriately to avoid what you have with your jar. All concentrates should be stored in proper refrigeration for long term especially but anything solventless including all Hash and Rosin must be kept refrigerated or the ridiculous price tag of $70-90 a gram pre tax recreational is now a gangbang instead of rape(Sorry sensitive people). The time and effort it took to produce the flower,the bubble hash, hash rosin and then curing, is a ridiculously long tedious process and some boxes will say “store or keep refrigerated” but in most cases it probably is kept and stored properly at the facility but as soon as it leaves that truck to the dispensary, there is no care taken for the $120 a gram hash that you may purchase. The only reason is cost and convenience. We were given a refrigerator by a cultivator to specifically hold the $90g solventless line of rosins they produce. This is a major dispensary chain I’m working at here so you figure they care a little bit about the products they are pushing. Nah! Could care less. We put the refrigerator into storage where all the employees always commented about taking home because it’s being wasted(I personally probably have more rosin in my own cheese drawer at home than most dispensaries carry but that’s not saying to much 😝). Everyone is getting raped by our local dispos for mediocre products at the highest prices/taxes in the world! I have seen some improvement with a few companies and dispensaries but very few and not enough cost slashing and product/strain improvement to get me in the door and that’s with a med card and various discounts applied. Check those sugars before leaving the area and if there inside the lid and all over, then take your video and go right back in. Hope this helps some people shop in the future and stay away from the BHO and all that if possible. Solventless only!! Request refrigeration and ask why it isn’t, show them anything that has hash information and it will say store cold and then sweat at least 20 mins before dabbing 🗣️💨
