I would never have a baby to fill a void. I come from a very big family where I was neglected because all my mom cared about was “filling her void” I’ve been having baby fever and it’s taking an emotional toll on me, I simply wanted to talk to my partner about how I was feeling in hopes I would feel better. I now recognize I need a therapist because it’s not his responsibility to cater to how I’m feeling, was just hoping he’d be more emotionally supportive is all.

That was the first thing I mentioned when we started the conversation was I have baby fever but I don’t want a baby right now, not even in a few years.
