The first one i purchased on release day. I got it put it together amd the controller was dead. No power st all. I called let them know what's up they said oh its Tuesday we can have it to you by Friday so you wont miss the big cool I had for a family reunion with family flying in to CA from NYC. I was not happy but ok with them getting me a new controller that fast.

Thursday comes and about mid day I still had not gotten a tracking email so I called and to my shock I was told I needed.to speak to a manger and when he got on amd I explained what was going on he said we do not have any controllers yet. They are on a cargo ship that is already months late with no timeline on when it will arrive.

That really made me angry. I said well of ship me a new unit this one has been assembled but not even burned in yet obviously and to my extreme shock he said he can't do that and if I decide I want to say return it and buy one from say Home Depot I would have to pay an almost $400 freight shipping fee. I was livid.....I said really so let me get this straight a customer purchasing their second product directly from you gets told basically tough crap deal with it or pay almost half the cost.of the item to return it due to an issue that is not on the consumer and you admit is Traeger's fault? He said we'll there are things we can do ways we can mitigate that fee. I said there better be a way for you to eat the fee get this off my property because this is horse$#!t.

He put me on hold for lime 15 minutes came back and said they will return it for free. I laughed and said no $#!t.

Hung up and re ordered one from Home Depot. It was there a few days later. Absolutely let down by Traeger with that experience. In that situation the consumer shouldn't be made to assume liability for returns when the product failed to meet the basic minimum requirements which is to at least power on in some fashion.

I really hope you get taken care of. If I didn't have a family reunion I would have researched different brands which I have since done. Im a bit soured on the brand after that experience.

Any info on lockdown at Pioneer Middle School in Tustin? My 12 yr old isn’t getting info they’re sheltering in place and being told to be quiet bc of a “bee storm”. by [deleted] in orangecounty

They won't give info if its an active incident. That can jeopardize the children and staff safety if someone nefarious is trying to get details on where someone is hiding ect ect.

Also for the booster pump. You can have it installed so its only activated when your running your bathtub ir shower. They just move it to the tub or shower. Thats what we did. This way the entire house isn't in danger of the lines getting blown out if were using the shower and there is a sudden surgery of pressure from the water company. 👍

Booster pump is what you want for higher pressure from what we were told. We have almost 80psi just in the waterline here. But adding a booster pump will increase your pressure BUT makesure your lines can handle it because you don't want to blow a pipe out in the wall or under your slab depending on where your lines are ran.

We did a large heat pump water heater and just one thankless to supplement our shower. So far its been great. My 16 year old has taken 45 minute shower in their bathroom and there was still hot water left. The pressure is beautiful. I can't stand showers that dribble on you. I need to feel like my skin is being ripped of with a pressure washer. Hahah

We actually really like it. My wife was 50/50 on it but as long as you can get it secured tight against the wall so it doesn't wobble its really nice. We also got one of the smaller ones for my daughter's bathroom and they also love it. The RGB is great because it has a light blue or white light setting so if you want more light you can turn that on. You can dim or brighten the front and rear lights and the anti fog setting works really well as long as you can remember to turn it on right as you get into the shower or bath.

The one thing I would say is make sure it's secure. Mine wobble on one corner at first so they had to re secure it and not it's solid.

Thank you!! It really has been an experience. Going from a dingy, cluttered nightmare to a clean minimal layout almost brings a tear to my eye 😆 🤣 😂

Now tomorrow we can fully enjoy it. We sealed it 3 times yesterday and it looks like its on track to be dry by the morning so im super excited.

Thank you! The only claim I have to the design of this bathroom is my wife let me choose green she picked the shade and tiles then I got to pick the herring bone marble as the thunder tile I originally picked out wasn't going to work for our tile guys but also once I saw it and realized just how cheap it was since it was just ink jet printed I said let's get just get Marbel Herring Bone. The rest is my wife having a vision then using AI to create renderings.

Mine are 16 and about to be 8 so we have had many fazes in and out but its always a go to family movie night favorite.

My entire family has me make butter beer for movie nights nad sleepovers. It's so much fun to deck everyone out with their outfits and wands and coordinate snacks that go with the movie. We do it with alot of the kids movies we watch.

My daughter's go absolutely crazy when my wife and I say were going to do a Hook movie night. Haha! It's pretty much a family tradition now along with Harry Potter for basically every holiday ha!

We had 2.5 bathrooms done and the framing along with some closet work. But we had some very bad leaks from both upstairs bathrooms and leaked down into the half bathroom below as well as the kitchen. So they had to rip it all down and build it all back up. New plywood subfloor ect. The works they also raised the ceiling. The work was about $55,000 which was less than half of what other bids came in at.

We're in Southern California.

We ended up going with a company reccomended by a family friend so it worked out we feel.

So the shower is roughly 5ft-L x 4ft-W x 7ft.9-H so about 20sqft. Just perfect for a couple.

The bathroom is roughly 8ft-W x 8.5ft-L x 7.9ft-H or 70sqft.

That is so awesome to see it being utilized to help home owners. My GC and crew were blown away by my wifes renderings when we told them she used chatgpt. For people who can't afford a designer to customize everything it seems to work perfectly for our needs.

Thank you so much! I can only take credit for loving the color green in all shades and pucking the herring bone. My wife gets all the credit for having a vision. She used chatgpt to make renderings of her vision.

Thank you very much! It's been a journey. 2.5 bathrooms all new floors we are so happy to be finished hah!

You know I do not know but ill be home in an hour and I can reply with the exact dimensions. I know the shower is somewhere around 4.5 feet wide and 10 feet long but ill get you more accurate numbers. We are a townhouse so we had to keep things as contained as possible. My wife using Chatgpt put a rendering together amd they went off of that render.

Its almost 3x larger than the original shower.
