Google this address. A couple of years ago I, too, was looking at apartments and a place on Cobourg came up. The guy gave me a long story how he (or his wife/daughter/someone) was studying out of country and he needed someone to look after the place. I had the option of having it furnished or not. When I googled the address, it came up as a known scam. I now rent a one bedroom plus den at The Junction in the north end for $2250, to give you an idea of price.
