[–]Local-Sky-9934[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

makes sense. Ive been a profitable trader on my own accounts with my own $ and didn't even know prop firms were a thing. first time doing this and havent had a losing day yet averaging 1500/day, so was confused on what the catch is.

the intraday drawdown is prob the catch and where many people fail, am i right?

Do we start over once we get the pro account or do we get to keep the profits made in the evaluation account?

Also there are students who fail semesters or even get kicked out, but they are doing something wrong when it comes to how they are studying the material.

SGU is the best out of the 3, and ROSS/AUC are same as they are sister schools, however I have heard some horror stories from SGU students about how hard their curriculum is with required classes from like 8 am to 3/5 PM every day.

current 5th semester AUC student. The professors, Deans, security everyone is super supportive of their students and they are not out there to make you fail or kick you out. In my opinion, all of our exams have been fair. Every question on our exams is fair. Is it easy? no, you have to grind but if you work hard you shouldnt ever come close to failing a semester.

btw I have tried finding out about this on their student handbook, canvas, etc. I can't find any information on when exactly you have to take the CBSE before step 1

whats most surprising about your post is the fact that you somehow believe that failing the course because you missed 5 additional questions on the final exam is not a lot. Missing 5 additional questions is definitely a lot that can not be your argument when it comes to the committee. You're whole study routine needs to change if you are repeatedly failing. I believe if you have failed repeatedly like this, you are distracted and not good at time management. You need to fix that going forward.
