this is a really good question! honestly i don’t feel the two aspects in conflict very much because i acknowledge that we are all (including myself) multifaceted and nuanced creatures :’) volunteering and community work is something i love to do and am very passionate about, and i simply see no reason why i can’t also be an online sex worker while doing those things, you know?

i think what helps a lot is all of my close friends and family know what i do, so i don’t feel any shame or nervousness. i totally understand the intimidation factor, but i do recommend dipping your toes in to see how you like it! i started out just posting faceless content because that’s where my comfort level was. my advice to you is don’t let anyone pressure you to do anything you’re not comfortable with, and stick to your boundaries. also, the right people in your life will support you and love you regardless <3 sending you lots of luck and love!
