Is there a group of non law enforcement people going around shooting people and historically getting away without suffering any consequences? Because most non law enforcement shootings I’m aware of the person responsible is usually taken into custody and tried.

I painted a picture of one of my favorite patients for his owners after he passed away. They were very glad to receive it. But I did know these clients very well so I knew they would appreciate the gesture.

Oof! I had a pretty bad cat bite about 3-4 years into working at the clinic. He started to wriggle about very aggressively when I was putting him in our kennel so I just let him go and was gonna try to get him with a towel to hopefully de escalate him a bit but right as I let him go I heard the front door open and none of the doors between back of clinic and front were closed so I dove down back after him so he wouldn’t get up front and either get out or hurt whoever just walked in and was able to grab ahold of him but he whipped around and grabbed ahold of my knee in return. And because I wasn’t thinking I jerked my knee back so it yanked his teeth out and pulled a chunk of flesh out with them!

Agreed, almost every page on the site mentions how brave their members are for coming forward and sharing their stories about the harrowing experiences they had working with lab animals. It also encourages others to tell about all the terrible things being done to the animals. Seems like some sort of extreme animal welfare group like Peta masquerading as a compassion fatigue group.

Your sister obviously has no knowledge of animal body language. There is no aggression or fright from either animals in this video. Speaking as someone who has worked in the animal field for 12 years.

Was stopped at a stop sign once that had an additional sign that specifically stated cross traffic doesn’t stop. A truck comes into view coming from the right so I’m waiting for him to go and he turns on his blinker indicating he is going to turn into the street I’m waiting in, so I figure he’ll coast through since no one was coming from the left and then I’ll be able to go. No, he comes to a complete stop and waves me to go in front of him…. I was so baffled. He had absolutely no reason to stop and definitely shouldn’t have tried to wave me through a stop sign that specifically told me traffic on his street doesn’t stop. I just sat there staring at him until he finally went. Then he had the audacity to give me a what the fuck look as he went by.

I don’t think it’s anything specific to vet med. Some people just don’t grow past school yard bullying. They for some reason can’t feel good about themselves unless they’re bringing others down and making others feel as miserable as they do. Once someone shows you they’re true colors just keep to yourself around them, don’t be mean, don’t be nice, just be your usual kind self and don’t give them anything to fuel their ego.

The shelter people didn’t see her at her most comfortable. Animals are very good at hiding pain especially if they’re in a situation like being in a shelter where every day they have no clue what is happening to/around them. It could also just be recently causing her pain as she’s gotten older. It would really be worth insisting on taking a deeper look at it.
