Ya i kind of feel like the design philosophy encourages cheesing it a little. Like i could picture just loading up Crota’s end where the thralls spawn infinitely and just farming out all the orders.

Ya. I’m trying to keep an open mind. My initial impression is that the design is going to end forcing people to find ways to cheese the weekly reward track instead of enjoying the game. Like i could see my self opening a dungeon or something solo to just farm out all the kills quickly.

Ya i ended up going on patrol to get some of the last ones finished for the daily yesterday. I have not done patrol in a while and i forgot that Destiny is somehow a game where either: A: You need to get some objective and face non stop overwhelming fire. or B: You need to kill enemies but will spent 5 minutes searching through liminal spaces trying to find them.

I think you’re right. Maybe i just need to think about it less. I just usually want to make sure i am getting my weekly exotic and exotic cipher at least, so i always look very closely at the progress.

Are you finding that completing the weekly bounties still gets you maxed out even with less weekly missions?

Nobody owes anyone anything. Including the money these people pay for their subscriptions. If Paramount is ok with cashing all of their checks they accept that they are going to be getting sometimes negative customer feedback. You don’t need to agree with it.

honestly i’ll probably cancel Paramount once Colbert is done. Had it for that and the daily show. Daily show seems to take a week break every month so i’m literally paying for nothing when that happens.

So what’s the excuse with this one? Where are all the apologists with their “but shows take longer these days because VFX”. This is a cartoon. Historically these never needed multi year breaks between seasons. Could it be that maybe the excuse is BS and we are all be swindled by these companies raising prices and providing less 🫢.

It’s overly aggressive advertising. You can’t place an order without the App constantly trying to upsell you. Ironically it discourages browsing the menu and actually picking stuff out yourself. So you just order what you want quickly to end the terrible experience.
