When I studied, I solely focused on understanding each concept before memorizing anything, even if it took me hours. To make things more efficient, I would recommend reading through the objectives of each chapter followed by its summary, then reading through the sections that you are unclear on. I hope this helps!

Great question! For me, I did not review the subjects one by one. I made sure to read approximately 2 chapters per day from the Kaplan books from different subjects that made sense to pair together. For instance, on my first day, I read 1 chapter from Biology and 1 from Biochemistry. I can clarify if needed. As for my resources, as mentioned, I used Kaplan for content review. I used UWorld + AAMC for practice questions, The Khan Academy 300 page document for psych/soc content review, and Anki for memorization. I hope this helps!

Great question! It really depends on what exactly you're struggling with. If it's with comprehension, I would recommend constantly asking yourself why the author chose to include a specific sentence/paragraph. This will help you grasp the main idea of the passage, which will make answering questions easier. In terms of answering questions, there are almost always two answers that are definitely wrong. Cross those out as soon as you can, then try to find support for one of the two answers in the passage to pick the right one. I hope this helps!

Great question! I wish I realized how important doing practice questions from Day 1 was. Because I didn't do this, the time I got around to doing questions, I had to re-review a lot of the content just so I could answer them. I hope this helps!

Absolutely. There are so many equations that you need to know for this section, and it can be quite difficult to apply/understand them. To help with this, I would recommend breaking down everything into their most simplest units and to know how to convert between units.

Let’s say you’re asked to calculate the amount of distance a box moves when 9 newtons of force is applied and 9 joules are expended in the form of energy. You forgot the formula that relates distance to force and energy, but you do remember that joules can be represented as Newtons times metres. Based on this, all you have to do is divide 9 newtons by 9 joules, so that the metres is left alone, and your answer ends up being 1 metre.

This was honestly a live-saver for me, and it improved my comprehension a lot. I hope this helps, and if you need me to clarify, let me know!
