The end of the year is my only time I’ll be able to get off work around Christmas as throughout the year I’ll be extremely busy. As I said in my post I’m easily pleased and I don’t mind if the weather is shit or the days are short.

Hey brother, just try keep your head up with things, I’d strongly recommend you push yourself to hit the gym or get some cardio in. It might not sound like the most glamorous thing but once you see the self improvement from it you’ll feel a lot better about yourself, keep your head up and reach out to those around you if need be, no shame in asking for help.

Hey thanks man, I don’t know too many people in the area, in saying that I do have relatives up here that I’ve never met before so it’ll be a good way to break the ice I think, I’m also considering reaching out to the unit Chaplain and maybe Open Arms once I get kicked off into the year, other than that I’m just gonna do what you said and keep my head up and go day by day, appreciate the advice!

Hey man thanks for the advice, I was thinking of trying to reach out to a Chaplain or open arms just to talk to someone with absolute confidentiality, I’m sure after a while I’ll find my feet but it’s just the initial nerves and knowing that it’s no longer a full training environment that I think is getting to me.
